Advantages: Soothes and softens skin.
Disadvantages: None.
I purchased E45 cream after recommendations from family and friends when I developed a rash on my face, which I think could have been caused by new make-up. Although the rash was not visible, it was very irritating and uncomfortable, and my skin became tight. I did not want to use my usual face moisturizer incase the rash became worse, however as my skin is quite dry naturally, my skin felt tight and this was very uncomfotable.
I purchased E45 cream from Wilkinsons, which is where I purchase many of my beauty products, and it was £2.48 for a 200ml bottle, a reasonable price. The bottle was white and very clinical looking, with a flip cap lid. The label on the bottle displayed that the cream was a moisturising lotion which soothes, softens and relieves dry and sensitive skin. The cream is also hypoallergenic and allergy screened, along with non-greasy, which sounded more than enough for my skin.
The lotion itself is quite a thin consistency, and not a thick, gungy cream, which I thought was quite nice. A lot of the lotion comes out of the bottle when squeezed however, so do not squeeze hard. My skin quickly absorbed the lotion.
I have been using the cream for about 3 days morning and evening now, and although the rash on my face has not disappeared, the E45 cream worked miracles in soothing my skin and making the rash more bearable. My skin also feels soft and supple in places where the rash is not, and I will continue using the cream even when I have got to the bottom of why I have this rash. Would recommend for all ages, and regards skin conditions, it is definitely worth a try.
Summary: Will purchase again
