When my grandmother became terribly ill a very sweet lady came to massage her feet. My grandmother's feet became baby soft after just a few weeks. I asked what cream was being used. The physiotherapist told me that it's the only cream she would use. On that recommendation I had to buy it for myself.
If you look along the chemist or supermarket shelf the cream packaging looks different from the other creams. It is not selling itself as something for sparkling fun filled nights out. There's no glitter or fancy colours to grab your attention. You'll find E45 cream by looking out for the clinical, plain blue and white box. It suggests reliability and that that this, clinically, proven to work, cream means business with your skin.
Reasons to buy:
If your skin is dry or sore (I was having a sore patch on my face due to sensitivity to Olay Regenerist facial cream), then this is the cream to try to resolve matters. For people with skin complaints, such as, eczema this is one to try. It's also good for babies with nappy rash as my friend was relieved to discover. I have used it for sunburn on my neck and chest and insect bites. The cream is cool to the touch. It has really soothed my skin and provided instantaneous relief. It can be given on prescription by your GP which really shows that this cream has credibility. It's ideal for sensitive skin as this is un-perfumed and hypoallergenic. E45 will hydrate and moisturise and really soothe the stings, rashes and dryness of the skin, including cases of mild psoriasis and can be applied all over your body.
Value for money:
I find it absorbs into my skin slowly and must be rubbed in for a while before the residue is absorbed but it leaves no grease after this. The good news is that a small squirt will go quite far. I paid around seven pounds for a 500g tub which has a hand pump on it. I bought this well over a year ago and I've got about a third of the tub left. This means the initial outlay is excellent value for money and more economical than buying the smaller tubes.
E45 comes in a range of packaging sizes and prices. There is this big 500g pot with a push down spout which makes it very easy to access the cream and control how much comes out. There are also small tubes available for travel and sizes in between. This is great for mild to medium skin irritation but obviously see your doctor if your skin is in a severe condition.
My experiences with E45 cream:
I've also used it to massage onto the hands of children in a special needs group. With some children it's hard to tell if they like the sensation but most children have given me big smiles and made noises of contentment. What's really good is that it is not greasy so I don't need to wipe their hands with tissues afterwards, so long as I spend time with each person rubbing the cream in.
It sorted out my sunburn. Took care of my red face after reacting to the Olay cream and really helped soften my hands which get particularly dry in this hard water area. I use it for practical purposes and rub a little on after activities such as gardening. Sometimes I use it to relax with by massage into my feet, arms, face and legs. It can be very relaxing but even better if you have someone to rub the cream in for you. However, truly sensual cream would probably be packaged in something more glitzy and have a good luxurious feel and scent. I recommend having other creams for the indulgent and sensual times. This E45 cream is more for the clinical dealing with dry or sore skin problems though it doesn't have to be used exclusively for this purpose and will make a good preventer of unwanted conditions of the skin.
I can't think of a single reason why you wouldn't want to purchase E45 cream.
Summary: E45 works wonders on the skin.
