I'm reviewing E45 Dermatological cream.
It comes in pumps,tubs,or tubes.With content varying from a 50g tube to a huge tub of 350g,and prices from £2.40 up to £7. I'm reviewing the pump tub.
It contains ,White Soft Paraffin BP 14.5%w/w.....Light Liquid Paraffin PH Eur 12.6% w/w....Hypoallergenic Anhydrous Lanolin(Medilan) 1.0% w/w.
It is recommended for many dry skin conditions ,including eczema,dermatitis,ichthyosis,& certain dry cases of psoriasis.

I first came across this cream purely by accident.We were helping care for an elderly friend who was house bound and had a care package in place which involved lovely girls coming in to see to her needs. Being housebound & sat in a heated room all day our friend's skin was getting very dry,so we were advised to buy this for the carers to use on her. We bought a small 125g tub to try it out & the carers would apply it after her wash ,or just massage it into her legs & feet ,which were VERY dry . She loved this & the difference was amazing . After just a few applications the dry skin was vastly improved & through constant use the dry skin was replaced by smooth much healthier skin, so we picked up a large pump tub which was much handier for the carers to use & more hygienic ....no constantly dipping fingers into the tub to top up.Just press the pump top & hold your hand under the nozzle.....really convenient.

I was so impressed that I bought some for my own use & have used it regularly ever since. I have no bad skin conditions thankfully,but my skin does tend to get dry,so I keep the pump tub on the bathroom sill for frequent use. I find the secret with this cream is to use it regularly but in small amounts. So the pump is ideal for this. I use it on my face ,shoulders & elbows after my morning shower & by the time I've trotted back to bedroom to dress the cream has been absorbed & my skin feels wonderful & smooth . It isn't oily unless you slap it on in great big splodges and it has no fragrance,so isn't going to clash with your deodorant or perfume. There is just a slight aroma on immediate use....not perfumed ,but very very slightly medicated (for want of a better word)......but that fades quickly after application & absorption into the skin.

It doesn't sting like some skin treatments either & is really gentle. Ideal for just about any skin type.

There is also a range of other E45 items,and these are very varied but basically are all for treating dry skin conditions on various body areas or for maintaining healthy skin.
Moisturising lotion.
Shower Cream.
Shampoo (for dry scalp issues)
Hand Cream
Lip Balm.
Bath oil.
Heel Cream
Itch relief cream.
And even things for children....hand & body wash & foaming bath items.

I've since recommended E45 cream to a few friends & colleagues & they are very happy using it too.
