At the back there is a brief product description, some instructions on how to use it and a rather extensive list of ingredients! The packaging looks quite simple but at the same time rather classy. The serum itself is housed in a silver bottle with a dropper attached to the lid and contains 15ml of product. To dispense the product there is a button at the top of the bottle which when pressed squeezes some of the serum into it. The ser...more

Elemis Absolute Eye Serum: Not particularly effective (818 words)

If you've read my recent Bo-ing concealer review you'll know that I suffer from under-eye circles, which I appear to have inherited from my dear old Dad. They really are quite noticeable and I am quite conscious of them when I am wearing contacts. They make me look quite tired (despite having around 8 hours sleep) and unwell and I would try anything to try and get rid of them, or at the very least make them less noticeable. I tend to use concealer quite a lot to cover them up but I would really like to treat them so that they disappear altogether! Around a year ago I read some glowing reviews about the Elemis Absolute Eye Serum, which praised its ability to ...  Read the complete review

A Serum that works (488 words)

I first started to use Elemis products after going on a pamper weekend at Centre Parcs where Elemis is one of the main products used in their treatments. They had a skin care specialist there who analysed my skin and told me the best products for it. As the range is quite pricey I did not think I would carry on using it after I had used my samples up but here I am a year later still using Elemis on my face and willing to pay full price for it. The Elemis Absolute Eye Serum was recommended to me as I had quite bad bags and dark circles under my eyes. I told the expert that I had been using an eye treatment to reduce them that contained caffine but it was not ...  Read the complete review

Elemis Absolute Eye Serum: Look Refreshed (270 words)

I have a favourite skincare brand that includes an eye product, but in January when I was feeling particularly dull and jaded I saw an Elemis skin booster set advertised on QVC and decided to give it a try. There were several products in the kit but I started with the eye serum as I felt the skin around my eyes was looking a bit lined. The usual state of my lines is that I don't have any when I get up in the morning having used a cream at night and they gradually become dried out during the day, but ealier this year they were looking lined in the mornings as well. Elemis is a range based on aromatherapy and the Absolute oil is purest form ...  Read the complete review

I am a big fan of elemis and have a wide range of their products. I saw an offer on QVC which included the eye serum along with some other items. All very good. The bottle looked very nice, it was a 15ml size and made of glass, which used a dropper to apply to the fingers. First if all I cleansed and toned my skin before using the eye serum. I then put a couple of drops on my ring finger and patted the serum under my eye and around my brow bone. My eye area felt instantly refreshed. After using the serum for a couple of days my skin did look and feel softer. It had a good fragrance and was nearly colourless and I think this size ...  Read the complete review
