However you can buy it on Amazon for around 18.60 but a better buy is to get the Lime Blossom Cleanser and this Toner in one set for 30.75.
This is a fragrant and gentle toner.
It has no alcohol or harsh detergents so is gentle on your skin. The toner contains extracts of lavender and Sweet Betty Flower.
Funnily enough his toner was also one I started using after it was recommended to my son by a friend, along with the lime blossom cleanser.
I was surprised that he started using a lavender cleanser but it obviously works for his oily skin and is one that he is now repeatedly buying ? so I get to share the product as well.
The liquid looks watery and has a lovely lavender smell ? but not so overpowering that it lingers on your skin to annoy you ? especially if you are male!
When used with the Elemis cleanser all I do is have a slightly damp cotton pad and then put two or three squirts of the toner onto the pad and then sweet over my chin, cheeks and forehead.
I know they say you can use this as a spritzer but I would be afraid of getting it in my eyes.
It is lovely and cooling and refreshing and so ever better to use in the summer. Having no alcohol it does not leave your face feeling tight and stripped of all its oils.
The product is in my view quite expensive, but the fact that it is in a spray bottle means you can use the least amount necessary, and there are no big amounts wasted by it pouring out of the bottle too quickly. So because of the spray the bottles do tend to last for ages.
I enjoy using these products but do find them expensive, but my son, with combination skin and in his early 20s swears by this and has been buying it for a year or two now ? so he must be reaping the benefits and does find it helps with the oiliness of his skina nd he seldom gets spots on his face.
A lovely smelling refreshing toner that goes a long way.

Soothing and Nourishing...
If you have read any of my previous reviews you will have guessed by now that I am an Elemis 'SUPERFAN' however I do not give my praise to products lightly, ultimately when it comes to my skin care and products I choose I want results. And yet again this elemis facial toner does not disappoint. The key to youthful looking skin is moisture and this is exactly what their Lavender Toner does; it feeds ands soothes my skin. I personally do not like using astringent toners that dry out my skin even on the areas of my face that I experience 'oily' issues with and in my opinion there are far better ways to deal with these problems than applying a toner that sucks all the moisture from my face - think about it folks when things dry out they generally become weak and brittle our skin is no different! It is far better to go without using a facial toner than use an inferior one that potentially causes more issues with your skin and leads to more money being spent to 'correct' these problems.
This product comes in a 'spritz' container (200ml) and on average retails at £19 -40; yes it is more expensive than most run of the mill facial toners but it is a great product and well worth the expense. It is pale green in colour and has a light lavender scent - Lavender can be a tricky scent for me to work with as it can sometimes be very synthetic and overpowering - however Elemis have yet again managed to balance it perfectly. It is not astringent in any way shape or form and I particularly enjoy it calming and nourishing effect after using Elemis Try-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash. It is simple to apply as you just gently spritz it over your face, please don't use too much because it works beautifully with only 2 or so 'pumps' - hold it approximately 60cm from your face whilst 'spritzing'. This toner feeds and nourishes your skin and the lavender has natural disinfectant properties so it helps keep unsightly break outs at bay. This is a shining example of skin care at it's best.
Please don't use cotton wool when using toner; what is the point of applying a product to your face only to remove it straight away? Rather once you have applied the toner gently dab it over your face using your fingertips, wait a few seconds and then apply your facial moisturiser. Firstly using this method of application means that your skin benefits from the products ingredients. As an added bonus when applying your moisturiser while your skin is still slightly damp your moisturiser goes further and therefore last longer saving you money in the long run!
Need I say more than I have already stated? This product works and is an excellent addition to any individuals skin care regime. I love the moisture infusion that this toner gives to my skin without any oily or greasy after effects.
Yes it is costly but as with so many of the products in the Elemis range it is worth its weight in gold as it produces results.
First and foremost please, please, please stop using astringent facial toners; use your cleanser/ facial wash to deal withy the dirt and ensure you use a non-greasy moisturiser to keep the 'oily' areas under control. Your toner is the first point post cleansing to start getting the moisture into your skin that keeps your skin looking plumper and younger. In my opinion this product is of an excellent quality and leaves my skin feeling dewy and fresh. Give it a try and please if you have missed any of my previous hot tips take a look at my previous reviews on the Elemis range.
I hope you find this review useful and may we all walk around with happy healthy skin,
I would have to say that this is one of my essential beauty products, because of my combination skin are found it difficult to get products that best suit and complements my skin type without causing a reaction to them. As with most elemis products its a little on the pricey side, however, it will last a long time. I find that a standard 250 mil bottle will last me around six months using it twice a day.
I use this complement the lime blossom cleanser and they both worked fantastically together. This comes in a tall bottle with a spray dispenser. The spray dispenser allows it to be multifunctional and away, because you can use it is revitalising spray spritzing it on your face. Or you can spray it onto the cotton wool pad and use as a deep cleanser . It has quite a predominantly green colour to it and has a distinctly floral smell. You can definitely pick up the Lavender within it. It has an exceptionally refreshing effect on the skin that is also a hard-working Toner, and you'll often find a lot of dirt is removed with this application even though you think you may have removed all dirt with a cleanser.
I found this toner really helpful with fighting blackheads and blemishes on my skin always looks in good condition after I've used it. Using it on a daily basis will also help to prevent further blemishes, and I have found that when I do use it daily. My skin will tend to stay very clear. However, if I do miss a day or for example one out for a week. My skin quickly reverts back to being in quite a poor state and end up having to start the whole process all over again. You will notice a difference in your skin on the first occasion of using this product. Mainly because your skin will feel plump and soft as well as clean after about two weeks, you will find that your complexion is much clearer. This really is a fantastic product, and as I say, is one of my essential daily products. But they warned, as with many ELEMIS products once you start using it your trapped because nothing will ever match up to the quality
This product is another luxurious example of Elemis' quality. When you use this product it's quality shows through the feel and smell of the product. The gorgeous smell of the essential oil combination feels fabulous on the skin but also has a psychological effect as you inhale the herbal smelling vapours. The toner itself is very cooling but not drying at all. The essential oil combination aids healing and so is very good for problem, sore or blemished skin. When you use the toner you do feel as though you are in a salon. This product is not cheap but it is quality. To make the product last a bit longer but without scrimping, squeeze a bit of the toner on damp cotton wool rather than wetting the cotton wool with the toner completely. This product is not available at any chemist or shop, it tends to be available in the larger department stores. The Elemis counters sometimes give away samples. Elemis products are so gorgeous that they are worth splashing out on
I use this toner with the lime blossom cleanser every day. You can use the toner as a facial spritz for a quick freshen up or you can apply with a cotton wool bud after cleansing. Even after cleansing it appears to remove a lot of dirt - dirt I didn't even know was there! You just need to look on the cotton wool pad for the evidence! It feels gentle and refreshing to use and has a delicate lavender fragrance. It has a spray lid so you only need a few pumps each day; a bottle usually lasts me a few months. I have problem skin and am constantly dealing with spots. Since using elemis products I still get the spots but they do seem to heal much more quickly and the general condition of my skin has improved, most noticeably my pores are less visible. I use this toner with the cleanser and the sos moisture lotion.
During my pregnancy my skin was all over the place and that did nothing for my confidence on those beached whale days! I had been using Clinique products but they were just not clearing up my skin and if anything were making it worse.
I did some browsing on the internet and read some good reviews about Elemis products so I went to the timetospa website. On there was an opportunity to get an online skin consultation through an instant messenger system. I gave it a go, the whole consultation took about 20 minutes so not something to do it you are in a rush. The toner she recommended to me to soothe my skin was the balancing lavender toner. The toner is marketed for combination or youthful skin types, so it is ideal for someone who suffers from the odd outbreak. The predominant fragrance of the toner is the lavender and it does smell deliciously fresh and pure, not synthetic in any way. The toner is alcohol free and is so gentle to the skin as it does not contain any harsh chemicals.
There are 2 ways to use this toner, either spraying it onto cotton wool and wiping over your face or spraying it directly onto you skin and removing with a cotton wool pad. Having tried both I prefer to spray directly onto my skin as i feel it is more effective at removing the last traces of cleanser and any last "dirt" from the skin. It can be quite amazing to look at the cotton wool pad and see what this toner has removed. Spraying it directly onto your skin seems to use less as well.
Immediately after using this toner for the first time my skin looked cleaner and brighter. This has continued to have this effect on my skin and I have tried other elemis products on the back of this one. Elemis products are on the expensive side, this toner retailing at £17 for 200ml. With careful shopping about online you can usually get some discount or a free gift and Elemis products are regularly sold on QVC.
I would recommend this product for people with skin that can be a tad unpredictable at times.
TO ME TONER IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ITEMS OF SKINCARE AS IT REMOVES THE LAST TRACES OF CLEANSER AND PUTS WATER IN THE SKIN TO HYDRATE,BUT THIS ONE DOES SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. IT IS PROBABLY THE MOST HEALING TONER IVE USED ESPECIALLY AS I USED TO HAVE ACNE NOT ANYMORE THOUGH. THE SMELL IS LIKE IVE DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN IT IS JUST SO RELAXING I COULD BATH IN IT ! DONT BE PUT OFF IF YOUVE GOT DRY OR SENSITIVE SKIN BECAUSE YOU CAN USE IT TOO. BECAUSE IT DOESNT CONTAIN ANY ALCOHOL IT ISNT HARSH ON THE SKIN BUT IS QUITE SOOTHING.PLUS ALL SKIN NEEDS REBALANCING SOME TIME BECAUSE OF THE MENSTRUAL CYCLE,PREGNANCY,THE MENOPAUSE OR JUST STRESS. GIVE IT A GO YOULL LOVE IT
Some people find the smell of lavender calming and soothing while to others, it can be quite overpowering. I am the latter. Therefore, to have the smell of lavender essential oil in a toner, is just not my cup of tea. I understand that lavender provides a lot of skincare benefits that makes it a popular ingredient choice for most cosmetics companies, not to mention the fact that lavender oil is cheap. Fortunately for this product, Elemis used natural lavender oils and extracts instead of synthetic perfumes, along with some other goodies like extracts of Sweet Betty and Quillaja Wood (helps to balance the skin’s pH level), thereby making the smell bearable. I have been using this clear green liquid for 3 weeks now, and so far, my skin suffered no allergic reactions to the formula. I tend to use too much of the toner, so my skin will feel sticky. I reckon you shouldn’t get too heavy-handed. I bought the toner as a set from QVC, so it is travel-sized (50 ml). As I have said before, I have been rather heavy-handed during the 3 weeks that I have been using this product daily, but I haven’t even reached 1/3 of the bottle yet! It just shows how economical this toner is. I have recently bought a full-sized Elemis apricot toner meant for sensitive skins and I absolutely love the fruity smell of that product compared to this lavender toner. I guess to choose between the two toners by Elemis is a matter of choice really, depending on what skin type you have and what smell you prefer. Lavender is meant for normal/combination (actually, if you don’t know which category of skin type you fall into, Elemis reps would recommend this one) and the apricot toner is meant for dry/sensitive skin types. But I would favour the apricot toner just for the delicious smell!
I know that's not what you're meant to do with a toner, but there's something so light and refreshing about this that I actually keep some on my desk and splash it on my arms when I get that 'office-stained' feeling in the middle of a long day. I also use this almost all the time as my toner, having been converted some years ago by a lovely salon facial I won in a competition. I wasn't used to spending so much on skincare, but this light green liquid really seemed to make my skin feel very clean and fresh without being drying. I'd very much recommend it to anyone with oilier skin who doesn't want to use harsh chemicals on their face. The largest size comes in a great square pump dispenser which costs about 28 but lasts me about a year (including all that splashing around!)
Toners are one of my favourite beauty products and this one from Elemis is one I often turn to in the summer when my skin's rather oily. It's suitable for a wide range of skin-types though - except, perhaps, very dry. I like this because of its actual toning action - skin feels very fresh afterwards, but, quite unusually, this isn't achieved by the inclusion of alcohol. It has a lovely light and fresh fragrance too, which doesn't actually smell a great deal of lavender. I use this in conjunction with the Absolute Day cream and Lime Blossom cleanser.
