I ran out of my moisturiser last week, so delved into my cupboard of goodies and found a little 30ml pot of this cream. Can't remember where it came from exactly, must have been part of a gift set of some sort, so thought I would give it a try.
I must say on first glance it looked a nice treat. A really cute pink pot of nice heavy plastic with lovely shiny gold lid - looks great on the dressing table.
The cream itself smelled really nice when the lid came off - very fresh smelling and a little sweet. When I put my finger into the cream however, I noticed it was of a much heavier consistency than a standard cream. This means you really have to dig your finger in to get the cream out which means that you have to take out more than you actually need of the cream.
When you apply the cream to your face, it is quite thick and it takes a bit of rubbing in to apply it evenly. My skin did feel nicely moisturised afterwards, but the skin did feel a bit "claggy" like the cream was a bit too heavy for my skin.
Estee Lauder promise more radiance, more lift and more moisture with this cream - can't say as I noticed any difference really. Maybe it would be better for a drier skin, but it really doesn't suit mine.
Having looked at the Estee Lauder website, I was shocked to see that a 50ml pot of this cream costs £50 - no way is this cream worth that much. Save your money and buy a cream that works instead!
