I started using this long before the current TV adverts came out which are promising quick results. I found that this didnt work on my skin at all, and was simply a waste of money. At nearly £9 this was one of the most expensive on the market at the time so I was really annoyed when it did nothing to help my skin, especially as I had also bought the gel too. I saw no improvement in my acne or my blackheads, and so would not recommend this to anyone. Instead, I would recommend buying benzoyl peroxide which you can buy over the counter or get at your chemist in the form of PanOxyl. This was recommended to me by my GP and has completely cleared up my skin, apart from the acne scars that are leftover. The PanOxyl cream is also much cheaper than this and last for a very long time as it lasts me around 3-4 months so it is very good value for money.
This is my review for Freederm facial cleanser. As a 26 year old who still suffers from teenage spots I am constantly on the lookout for products that will help clear up my skin. I had spent years using clean and clear which had no effect at all on my skin. So when i saw this product advertised for adults with spot prone skin I went straight down town and bought it. The price made me a little giddy when I first looked at it, I've been used to paying about 3 pounds on my previous products, so when I saw that this was 8 pounds 95 pence I considered trying something else. Then i thought well maybe it's priced as so because it's a good quality product that works, so I took a deep breath and paid for it. The bottle contains 100ml of cleanser, and the front of the bottle states that it is an anti-bacterial cleanser for all skin types. It also claims to combat blackheads, which sounds ideal as my nose is prone to blackheads. It is recommended that you use the cleanser on a daily basis instead of your regular skin routine. There are two ways that you can use it, the first one applying it to your fingertips and massaging into your skin and then wiping any excess cleanser off with a cooton wool pad. The other way is to apply and then rinse off with warm water. I have been using this product for about 4 months now and I am extremly happy with the results. My skin feels alot smoother and looks clearer than it has done for many years. I am less prone to spots than i was when using my previous product, although I do find that if I neglect to use it for a day and just use regular soap and water as i have been known to do on occasion, i do get a slight breakout of spots but if i make sure I use it everyday the spots tend to keep at bay. There are many products in the freederm range, such as a spot gel for inflamed spots that I get every now and then and that soothes the spot and makes the inflammation go down. I had to invest in that aswell but the price wasn't as scary to me as I knew that it would be a product that worked. I am extremly impressed with this product and will continue to use it in the future.
