Advantages: Clears spots and blemishes quickly. Soft gel.
I don't suffer with spots very often but like anyone else sometimes they appear and then just disappear in a few days. Recently I had a few spots under my chin which would go away naturally and I just applied an antiseptic cream. The cream didn't remove them for a couple of weeks, so when I was in the chemist I asked the pharmacist if I could buy a product to remove them. He advised me to use this gel.
The gel comes housed in a cardboard box and inside the box the gel comes in a small tube which has a screw off top. The gel is white translucent colour and it is fairly thick and rich, really smooth gel too. I cannot smell any scent in the gel at all.
It is advised to just clean the area this is to be used on and gently dry it and then to just use a small amount of the gel onto the area. It does leave a thin film over the skin until it is soaked in. it only takes a minute or so to absorb fully into the skin. It does feel a little sticky until it is fully absorbed and then it feels tacky for a while but not for very long. Once dried it is invisible on the skin and then not sticky at all and it cannot be noticed on the skin.
It contains clinical active Vitamin B complex, it is supposed to be clinically proven to help heal mild to moderate inflamed acne spots and pimples. An anti inflammatory treatment for spots. The pharmacist told me my spots were a little inflamed from shaving but not acne spots but he told me this gel would help the inflammation which was causing the spots. It reduces the redness around the spots too.
I have found this gel to work in a couple of days using it around 3 times a day. It did most certainly help the redness disappear and completely remove my spots under my chin.
It can be used all over the face but avoiding the eye area and also around the nose and mouth. I think if you are suffering with spots which won't disappear naturally or ones which aren't removed using an antiseptic cream then this one would probably work much better. Would be a good one for young teenagers who have teenage spots or mild acne.
I bought this on offer at the time and it only cost me £2.50 from memory, I think the normal price was around £4.
I would buy this again and I have lots left in the tube but I will throw it away in a few months and use it again if I have the same kind of spots in the next couple of months or so.
It says on the back of the box to not store it above 25%. I just keep it in my medicine chest. There is an information leaflet inside the box and one thing I read was to use a small amount and do a patch test first to see if it is suitable for your kind of skin. I would read this leaflet because there is a lot of advice in it to read and it would be very useful information indeed.
I rate this gel 5 stars.
Summary: Nice gel, clears spots quickly.
