Advantages: Colour matched my skin pretty well

Disadvantages: Everything else

I've tried a few different BB Creams now and I haven't been very impressed with any of them, but this Garnier BB Cream is definitely the worst by a long way! I got my tube free, but it retails at £9.99 which is shocking.

It comes in a tube as pictured above, which is made of a squeezy plastic and has a flip tip lid. It stands on it's lid so assuming you store it this way rather than thrown in a make-up bag the cream is always ready to come out of the tube. The hole that the cream comes out of is small enough that it is easy to control the amount you get out.

The cream is a little runnier than I had expected, but it's not so runny that it causes a problem. The texture is quite fluid and creamy, and it feels very smooth on my skin. It feels as though it would smooth and blend easily into the skin but in fact it takes much more effort to apply than any other cream I've used.

I found the colour matched my pale skin really well which surprised me as it looks really dark when it comes out of the tube. The problem was blending it so as not to get a patchy, uneven finish, this was very hard as it seemed to dry far too quickly. It really did take a long time for me to get it to look anywhere near 'passable' let alone get a finish I was happy with.

Another problem was that it doesn't seem to be suitable for either oily or dry skin. I have combination skin which is oily in the t-zone with a few dry patches, and I found that it slid off my t-zone within minutes as well as making me very shiny, and clung to dry patches making them look even worse. I also found it did absolutely nothing to conceal blemishes in any way, shape or form, the coverage is just way too light.

This is one of the worst products I've used in a long time and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Summary: A terrible product
