When it comes to anti-wrinkle products and the likes I am not easily duped or fooled believe me. I know deep down that nothing is going to delay the signs of ageing dramatically but do believe however that things can help smoothen and soften the skin making it more comfortable to live in.
I did not go out of my way to purchase this product. At the price of about £9.99 in all good chemists and supermarkets I would think it was a waste of money. However my mate spotted it in Morrisons at a heftily reduced price of £1.50 a box and treated us both to one cos she thought it was such a bargain and I was very happy to receive every little bit of help I can get!
Well the roll on comes in an oblong black and green box and on the front of it there is a photograph of the actual roll on and we are told that it is Garnier 'Skin Naturals', UltraLift Pro-X Lifting Anti-Wrinkle Roll-on 'Plumps Up Even deep Wrinkles, Tones face And Neck' and that it stimulates and tones skin and is formulated against the effects of collagen deterioration and is dermatologically tested. On the other three sides of the box we are told a bit about the product and shown by photographs and told how to use it, ingredients and the size is stated (which is 50ml and the only size I have seen this available to purchase in by the way) and contact details for Garnier are given. The bottle the roller comes in is a deep red and made of plastic tall plastic bottle which has a slight curve for ease of handling to the top of it and then a see-through cap/lid goes over a large see-through rollerball which moves with real ease. On the front of it we are simply told what it is and on the back of it contact details for Garnier are again given and the size is stated (as I have listed already). This is nice quality, informative packaging, easy to use and a nice handy travel size too.
To use this is very simple indeed. All you have to do is to use this rollerball in upward movements over lines and wrinkles in the main so to tone up facial skin you simply apply from chin, upwards to the temples, on the neck you simply apply it in circular motions and to the corners of eyes and mouth work from the inner corners to the outer.
The solution is thin with a slight aroma to it of very light and sweet florals. The fragrance isn't important anyway it really is very slight indeed and fades almost as soon as its applied anyway. Its none sticky and damp and it you do get any slight wetness on the skin you simply have to rub it in with your fingers. You can use this on its own or before applying moisturiser and/or make-up. It is meant to make the skin feels smoother and more toned and be very good for general hydration to the skin but does it make any difference to me and my overall appearance?
Sadly no is the simple answer. Not in the short term or in the long term wither. Its easy to apply with a large see-through rollerball and feels nice and cooling when being applied even dries fast and leaving no feeling of residue on the skin at all but I have to be honest, in my case this is a waste of time using it and I'm glad a friend bought it me on the cheap or I'd be one disappointed woman I can tell you that much!
It gets the thumbs down for me for doing nothing to me at all!
