“ Brand: Garnier / Type: Cleansing Milk / Subcategory: Milk / What it does: Cleanses / Product line: Garnier Synergie „
I picked up this Garnier Synergie Gentle Multi-Cleansing Milk a while ago in Superdrug for about £3.00, but have only just started using it recently when my last cleanser ran out.
I have used a lot of Garnier's products over the years and I do quite like their cleansers and toners as they are cheaper than most brands, but they still do a good job.
~ The bottle ~
The cleanser comes in a white plastic bottle with a turquoise coloured flip cap lid. The front of the bottle has a clear sticker on it with Garnier Synergie across the top then 'Gentle Multi-Cleansing Milk with rose extract' in green lettering underneath.
The back of the bottle has a clear sticker with a list of ingredients and directions for use.
The bottle contains 200ml of cleansing milk.
~ Use ~
The cleansing milk itself is white in colour and is quite watery. It smells fresh and clean. The scent of rose is very slight.
The back of the bottle advises to 'Apply morning or night with cotton wool using circular movements. Can also be rinsed off.'
It claims to remove all make-up and impurities.
I use cotton wool pads to apply the cleansing milk to my skin. It feels cold on my skin and I find that little effort is required to remove make-up and cleanse my skin.
The cleanser does not feel greasy or leave any residue and I do not feel the need to rinse it off my skin. It makes my skin feel clean and soft. It also smells nice on my skin.
I think this cleansing milk does a good job of removing my make-up, even mascara, and the cotton wool pads that I use always look grubby after removing my make-up.
I always use toner and moisturiser after cleansing my skin. I find that Garnier's cleansing milk offers just as good results as the more expensive brands that I have used and it is a fraction of the price.
~ Conclusion ~
I would definitely consider buying this cleansing milk again. It is gentle and does not irritate my skin and it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft.
I find it handy that it doesn't need to be rinsed off after use as it means I can keep it by the side of my bed along with my toner and moisturiser and can use it before going to bed.
Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising my face has always been a part of my every day routine, making sure that I remove all traces of my make-up before I go to bed each night, moisturising my face and leaving it feeling refreshed.
I have been using the Garnier Clean and soft Cleansing Milk for a couple of months now and have found it to be extremely effective, especially with the fact that I have quiet sensitive skin and in the past have struggled to find the perfect one as I have reacted to many other products, but not this, in fact I think this could be one of the best that I have used. I also use it alongside the Garnier Sensitive toner and the Garnier Soft Day Cream for far better results.
This is a quick and effective cleansing milk that effectively removes make up and every day dirt residue from the surface of the skin and cleanses deep into the pores removing any unwanted impurities. Leaving the skin feeling Moisturised and soothed.
The cleanser very effectively removes make-up, thoroughly cleaning away my eye make-up in one single step and removing foundation just as easily, with no oily/greasy residue the skin is just left feeling refreshed, clean and soft.
I personally use a small amount of the cleansing milk on cotton wool pads (separate pads for each of my eyes to avoid infection) cleansing my face using small, firm, circular motions.
Designed for sensitive skin this cleanser does not irritate therefore it is an effective method for make-up removal as its kind to your skin and it also has a pleasant subtle rose fragrance.
Overall this is a really nice product, The daily use of this cleansing milk combined with the Toner and Day cream has improved my skin tremendously
A 200ml bottle of the Garnier Clean and Soft Cleansing milk retails at approx £3.00 - £4.00
Any product that promises to remove all traces of face and eye makeup usually finds it way it's way into my shopping basket at some point or another and Garniers "Complete Cleansing Milk" for dry and sensitive skin was no exception.
It claims to gently remove makeup with 'cleansing micro-dispersed oils' and essence of rose. For face, eyes and lips it is dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types. It promises to be a quick, effective and easy to use makeup remover than is gentle on the skin and to remove even long lasting face and eye makeup in just one step.
The cleansing oils clean right down into the pores to remove impurities and ground in dirt, whilst the essence of rose leaves skin smooth and moisturised.
It is packaged in a pale pink bottle with a flip top lid (I think it has been repackaged since the photo above was uploaded), that is easily squeezed to release the product.
I paid £3.13 for 200ml's from my local Superdrug, which itself is great value in my opinion but I've found it often goes on sale - especially buy one get one free promotions - in Boots. Either way, you only need a small amount so one bottle will last you a good few months :-)
To use I squirt a small amount onto the edge of a cotton wool pad before pressing together gently to spread the product all over. Then I wipe gently over my face in upwards movements using a fair amount of pressure around the nose and forehead. Immediately you can feel a cool, soothing effect which is especially nice after a long day! It doesn't irritate the eyes, which is a problem I encounter with many eye makeup removers, but I do find that it can slightly sting if used on any extremely dry, broken skin or pimples. Nothing terrible though and I just try to avoid them ;-)
It removes my makeup well, though I usually have to go over my eye area one or two times more, but to be honest this is probably due to my overly primed lids and dark makeup.
The rose scent is strong and obviously present and although it is not a scent I would choose if I had a choice, it's not unpleasant in the slightest and I'm sure it could be a lot worse!
After use my skin feels clean and soft, without that greasy residue that some cleansers leave behind, though I generally wash my face with warm water afterwards anyway just to be sure.
So, overall - A nice, easy to use cleanser that really does what it claims too. Skin is left clean, refreshed and smooth. Great for sensitive skin, but probably not best for those with a lot of acne or other similar skin complaints.
I regularly have to cleanse and tone my skin, as it can be dry and very sensitive at times. I do struggle with want i can and can't use on my skin.
I have been using Garnier complete cleansing milk, for a few years now and it has improved my skin drasticly, so if you too struggle with dry sensitive skin this is the thing for you.
This cleaning milk is made with the essence of rose and cleansing micro oils, and can be used on your face, lips and even your eyes.
I also use this as a make up remover as it takes it off gently, with out causing irritation or smarting eyes, like most removers can do.
This is a creamy lotion will completely remove any make up build up, or even just day to day grime that can become clogged in to you pores. Leaving you whole skin feeling gentle and soft.
It is absorbed into your skin without leaving it greasy, providing you do not use to much product.
This has a really gentle fresh smell to it, and it is not over powering, if you think of the rose petal smell you will have an idea of what to expect.
HOW TO APPLY PRODUCT
To apply this wipe it over your face, eyes and lips and massage gently to desolve and make up and mascara built up, then you will have to remove the product with cotton wool or toilet roll.
Remember to start removing product from your eyes, to avoid getting infections, and use a cotton pad for each eye.
This cleansing milk comes in a light pink, 200ml stand up bottle, which mades it easy to store.
It has a flip top cap to keep the product fresh at all times, and all ingredients and directions are listed.
WHERE TO GET THIS
You can basically buy this from any supermarket, chemist or cosmetic shop.
Usually i pay 3.29 for this from superdurg, but dependent on where you buy it you could possibly get it a little cheaper.
To get the best possible skin i would recommend you use this along side the garnier smoothing toner and the moisturiser.
Gariner also do this product for normal skin types and greasy combination skin types.
Other bottle colours are greeen and orange so you can determine which one you need.
This is a very good product that cleanses your skin to the max, removing all make up and day to day grime in only a couple of minutes. So it is ideal for those who don't have time to remove make up, it is just as quick as having a wash.
for the price of 3.29 i feel this is a very good deal as this tends to last me 4-5 months at a time.
The best bonus is my skin is no longer dry, although it is still sensitive. But it feels nice and smooth all of the time.
