I bought the Garnier Skin Naturals Ultralift eye cream, as part of a three for the price of two offer in Boots a few months ago now.


****WHAT DO YOU GET? AND WHAT DO THEY SAY IT DOES****

The cream comes in a bright red 15ml tube with a pointed end which allows for precision applications and it is simple to squeeze just a small amount for each eye.

This is packaged inside a white cardboard box with the picture of the product on the front and details.
The cream has a 6 month expiry which is about the right time based on daily use.
Box and tube can be recycled.

Price is around £8 - £10

They say they product is pro-retinal - meaning that the apparently natural ingredients are contented to be released into your skin even after it has been applied. This allows for firmer looking skin and the reduction of wrinkles.


****WHY DID I BUY IT?****

Garnier always seem like a good brand and it was on offer. Aside from that the person reason is that I never used to use a separate eye cream until a few years ago, now especially after night shift I start to feel like my eyes need a bit of a lift and some TLC and so now it is part of my daily routine.

***DID IT WORK FOR ME?****

The cream is much lighter than your average face cream and has the texture of a lotion. This is so that it can be gently applied in small circular motions with your finger tips without pulling or dragging the delicate skin area. It blends in very easily with just a small amount of sheen left on the skin, which absorbs within a minute, therefore allowing easily application of primer and or foundation.

Although it seems to moisturise well I felt no tightening of the area or significant difference in my under eye appearance not after a fews months daily use at least, aside from a mild lessening in bags after a night shift! There was defiantly no difference in the fine lines around the corners of my eyes and so for me does not do what I require of it.

It apparently has effectiveness proven by clinical study but the box only says 38 women , 4 weeks which in study terms means absolutely nothing to me without how many this was out at least!
I guess I am not one of these 38.
