As soon as you hear the name 'Guerlain' you think 'expensive', and Guerlain Moisturizing Cleansing Milk is no exception at £18 for a small plastic bottle. That said, if, like me, you have sensitive skin, it's worth a try, and your local concession should supply you with a trial size to try prior to making a purchase (I'd never spend so much on what is essentially Pond's Cleansing Cream without checking my skin wasn't going to break out the moment it touched it). So, all you need to do is splodge (technical term) it all over your face and rub it in/off with a cotton wool ball or pad. You can then either just leave it (which I don't like to do, ... At £18 for a relatively small tube this is not exactly cheap however for me it is proberly the best, or at least one of the best, cleansers that I have used as it is so good for my skin and this offsets the cost of the item as to find a product that really works is a real bonus. My skin can dry out quite easily due to work and the amount of exercise that I do and hence I moisturise on a regular basis and what I like about this product is that I can use it with water. A relatively small amount is needed and it absorbs into my skin really easily and then you can remove any trace with warm water to leave you face feeling fresh abd the skin is positively glowing, ... I was rather narked last year when The Body Shop discontinued the Jojoba day cream which had become a daily part of my skin care regime. At £9 a pot it was not the cheapest but because I have quite sensitive and dry skin I had discovered that this particular cream worked wonders for me and as such the cost was justified. When I learnt they were discontinuing the line I immediately stocked up on a few tubs but by December I had completely run out and had to start trialling different creams to find a daily replacement. This search is ongoing and as yet I have not identified a worthy contender. This Guerlain moisturizing cleansing milk came as part of a sample ... Read the complete review

After my favourite cleanser was discontinued, I decided to have a bit of an experiment varying from high end cleansers to your bargain ones. When you hear the name Guerlain, you automatically assume that the product will be expensive but luxurious and effective. Guerlain is a French perfume house and amongst the oldest in the World, so I decided to give the Guerlain Moisturising Cleansing Milk a go at £18 for a 200ml bottle, it isn't cheap but is definitely worth the money as it actually works. I would say I have combination skin as my skin can be quite dry from the air conditioning at work but then I do have an oily t-zone, so I tend to go for creamy ... Read the complete review

Most of my adult life has been spent searching for a cleanser that does the job. I'm a fussy so and so, and I prefer a cleanser you can use with water, so I'm immediately a bit limited. I also have combination skin that tends towards oily in the middle and Gobi-desert dry the further out you get, and had, until this year, despaired totally of ever finding a cleanser that got rid of the greasy bits while dealing with the flakey bits as well. I had a modicum of success with the Estee Lauder foaming cleanser, but still felt tight and dry after using it. Happily, I was given a tester of Guerlain's Moisturising Cleansing milk while buying some perfume. ... Read the complete review
