I got a vat of this at the same time as the brilliant Cleansing Milk from this range. (Do try it; it's done absolute wonders for my skin.) I thought I ought to review this to complete the whole Guerlain cleanse/tone/moisturise tryptich for you. Although I thought this was brilliant, It's probably not the best toner I've ever used; I honestly prefer Decleor's (which is also a little cheaper). But it's not half bad. Don't get it just because you've got the cleanser, though; shop around a bit. You may find something like the Decleor one works better for you. This *is* lovely stuff. It's in a gel formulation, and it has tiny particles of mica in it. They're small enough to add shimmer, but their effect is extraordinarily subtle; it makes your face lighter and brighter, but not sparkly or (horrors) spangly. If you're feeling a bit sallow, it's lovely to refresh and lift your skin; and refreshing is exactly what it's best at. A bottle lasts a deal longer than the bottle of cleanser. Don't be suckered into sloshing it onto a cottonwool ball; just put a little on the palm of your hand and smooth it over your skin. It does the same job, but you waste a lot less. It can also be applied over makeup to lighten and relax your features. My skin was left feeling toned and relaxed. And very pearly!
