Advantages: Just 99p!
Disadvantages: Makes you too hot in the summer!
I recently shopped online on H & M and bought some dresses for my holiday, which I completely forgot to send back as they didn't fit me, and ended up having to just exchange them for a credit note in the store. I buy loads of clothes in H & M but I have been looking for months recently and there is nothing I like! So I decided to have a look at the cosmetics in my local store, I never usually even look at them as I usually get stuff like face masks just from Boots etc, but I was surprised actually at how much H & M do.
I noticed H & M did face masks and as I just wanted to get rid of my credit I decided to give some of them a go, as they were really different, I have never seen them like this one before. This one is a vanilla fudge face mask. I love fudge, so I thought this would be really nice.
I didn't really read the packet properly on the front. I just read the back which said to wash your face as usual and then apply the product to your skin and leave for about 10 minutes. As soon as I opened the pack and poured some onto my hand, the product went really hot! I then looked at the front and saw this is a self warming face mask!
This face mask felt so hot on my skin, and was making me feel really warm in the bath! It definitely is a mask for winter, it would be great on a cold night, as it really does warm you up! It wasn't too hot that it burnt but it did feel very very hot on my skin. The face mask was the exact colour of fudge, and it was just like the fudge had been melted, that was exactly what this product looked like. It looked good enough to eat!
It was the normal pal ebrown colour of fudge, and looked really creamy and was quite runny, but felt a bit sticky too. It was a good consistency to apply on to my face. It didn't feel heavy or sticky on my face though, I don't think I would have even felt I had it on if it wasn't really hot on your skin.
I left it on for 10 minutes and it doesn't dry or peel off, it stays like a sticky runny melted fudge on your skin, but it does wash and wipe off really easily. My skin didn't feel amazingly refreshed and soft afterwards, but it did feel smooth and a little soft, and I would use it again. It didn't dry my skin out or irritate me, so it is fine for sensitive skin.
Overall, for 99p this face mask was really nice, and different with it being warm, but I wouldn't use it in summer again, only in the winter as it just makes you feel too hot! It smelt gorgeous too, and I would definitely buy it again!
Summary: Made my skin feel nice and soft, would buy again
