When I apply it as an after sun it does cool my skin down a little bit but it is not the best at doing that and I think it is best for me to use it just to moisturise my body. I used it when I had sunburn and I peeled very badly so even though it is very moisturising I think it is not so good at helping with the effects of too much sun.

WHAT IS IT? Body butter from Hawaiian Tropic that works as an after sun also. THE PACKAGING Lime Coolada comes in a plastic tub that has got a screw on lid. It is like a pot in a pot because there is a thin see through layer of plastic and then a smaller green tub inside that is where the body butter is. I like that the tub is wide so that I can put my fingers in and get the butter out easy. HOW DO YOU USE IT? You can use Lime Coolada any time because it is very moisturising and you do not have to wait until the sun is out. Before we jetted off last year on our summer holiday I made sure that I had stocked up on all the skin care essentials ranging from sun care cream, after sun and even lip care. One item I knew I'd need would be a decent body lotion or body butter because the sun combined with the sea can be quite harsh on the skin and team it together with my dry skin I just need a little help keeping it incredibly smooth and hydrated.
