My fiancé recently tried Boss Skin Revitalising Moisture Cream. Its one of the Boss Skin Moisturise range by Hugo Boss. There are several products in this range, they consist of
Boss Skin Revitalising Moisture Cream
Boss Skin Instant Moisture Gel
Boss Skin Shine Control Moisture Gel
As I said the one mark tried was the Revitalising Moisture Cream. It comes in a stylish dark grey/black container with a push top that releases the cream. It has Boss Hugo Boss written at the top and Skin written length ways down the front. Its has a very masculine look and there's no mistake that it is a mans product. It costs £22.00 for 50ml's but you can find it for £18.75 online at Fragrance Direct.
It is designed to provide balanced hydration throughout the day and should be applied morning and night. It also contains SPF 15 UV filter.
The cream is white in colour and although its quite a thick firm cream it does feel very light. I have used the cream on the back of my hand to describe the smell and it disappears into my skin nearly instantly. Its totally non greasy and there's no stickiness. I have also heard Mark say that it rubs into his skin really quickly and dries straight away.
When first applied the fragrance is very strong. I can smell a slight minty fragrance. This fades within seconds to leave a more muted musky smell I also think there is a hint of lemon in there too. I am slightly disappointed because I found that after about 15 minuets the smell has almost gone! I've notices this happens on Mark too. Although it does seem a shame because the smell is lovely and masculine the up side is that it doesn't interfere with any aftershave.
The cream did a good job with moisturising Marks face. It felt soft and looked moisturised. He does suffer from dry skin and usually uses my E45 cream. I asked him if he would like any more of the Boss Skin Moisturiser ( I had xmas in mind) and he said no! He felt the E45 did just as well as the expensive Boss one and given the choice would rather use that and spend the money on an aftershave.
Overall despite being a nice rich moisture cream I don't think it warrants the price tag.
