I like to use a gentle exfoliator on my face every couple of days to keep it feeling fresh, smooth and deeply cleansed and for the past few years I have found myself increasingly loyal to the Johnsons Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Wash (apart from those few seriously bad skin days when something more hardcore is required and I have to revert to my trusted St Ives face cement!). The Johnsons Daily Wash is suitable for all skin types and comes in a 150ml tube for £3.09 from Boots (although it is often on a 3 for 2 offer or other skin care offers so I always stock up during these periods rather than buying it at full price). The tube is fairly unexciting ... Read the complete review

I am loyal to the St Ives face scrub and use it everyday to keep my skin from breaking out. It does however often dry out my skin, even though I have generally very oily skin, and so I like to have another face wash on the go, so I can turn take with the St Ives wash. I have to be very careful however, as I have sensitive skin, so not everything has agreed with my skin in the past. A month or so ago, I noticed that Tesco had some Johnson's products on offer, including this Johnson's Face Care Daily Essentails Gentle Exfoliating Wash, which usually retails around £3, but I got it on offer. What attracted me to this product, was firstly, that it was ... Read the complete review

I have really rough skin on my face which is one of the more unwelcome symptoms of having an underactive thyroid. My face always feels like sandpaper and it gets sore quite quickly and my skin is really dry too. I wanted to find something that would get rid of the flaky skin on my face without leaving me as red as a beetroot so I had a look in Boots and found this product by Johnson's and thought I would try it as they are best know for making things that are suitable for a baby's skin so thought it would not harm my 54 year old skin either. The product is called gentle exfoliating wash but being a bit naive even at my age I hadn't got a clue what you ... Read the complete review

Price: £3.05 for 150ml (from Boots) Johnson's has dedicated certain products within their skincare range specifically to people with delicate skin, in order to provide effective cleansers which are supposed to avoid aggravation and excessive drying. In the past I have had bad reactions when products have irritated my skin and so I am often on the lookout for products designed for more sensitive skin. With micro exfoliating beads, instead of larger particles, this product is thinner than I first expected and does not have an excessively grainy texture (like many of the other exfoliating products out there). This means that when it is applied and ... Read the complete review

I regularly use Johnson's products ranging from eye make-up pads, wipes to baby lotion. I have sensitive skin and also often suffer from dry skin. I therefore have to be careful with the products I use particularly on my face. I was initially drawn to this product because it was a Johnson's product and their products are always safe to use on my skin type. I was specifically looking for a product that I could use occasionally that would exfoliate my skin without completely drying it out. This product seemed ideal as it claims to be 3 in 1. It claims to cleanse, gently exfoliate and remove impurities. It is also soap free which is important to me as some ... Read the complete review
