“ Brand: Jurlique / Type: Face Oil / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types „
I recently purchased Clary Sage Oil due to me being pregnant. Being a first time Mum I'm desperate to meet my little one so am doing everything to encourage the process along.
The claim that made me buy this product was this -
"Recommended for childbirth, since it encourages labour yet promotes relaxation. It is a tonic for the womb and balances hormones, reducing PMS and relieves the pain of menstrual cramps."
Come in a small glass bottle with a screw cap and fitted inside the cap with a dripper so easily allows you to manage the amount of drops you use.
The bottle can get a little greasy after a few uses but that is to be expected as it is an oil.
I have used this oil in a few different forms.
In an oil burner - If projects a woody aroma into the air and it nice a relaxing used in a bath.
Rubbed into my bump/back - I have had it rubbed in to my bump and back which feels nice but no nicer than any other oil.
Dropped into a bath - I have used this in my bath water along with lavender which claims to enhance the Clary Sage to be even more relaxing. Now I'm unsure if it's just the Lavender or the mixture of the two but I do find it very relaxing and the aroma of the lavender and clary sage compliment each other.
It has a woody, floral smell to it which I can't decide if it's nice or not. I can only describe it as unusual.
I brought my bottle of Jurlique Clary Sage Pure Essential Oil from Holland & Barretts for only £6.00 so not a particularly expensive supplement.
-Assists with lower blood pressure
-Helps with stress
-Soothes inflamed skin
-Promotes hair growth
As I mentioned I only brought this product for one purpose...To Get This Baby Out!!
At the moment it hasn't worked (but only being 39 weeks there is time) but I do find it very relaxing and have enjoyed having it in the house.
I possibly would buy it again if I felt it may assist with any problems it claims to help but I wouldn't buy it just a relaxation method.
