I really wanted to believe in this product because I had heard so many great testimonials, but this product was a big disappointment. It does smell horribly, yes, but once it's on your skin you barely notice. Having an oil slick for a T-Zone, I smeared a thin layer on the zone and woke up with a battlefield of blemishes. Thinking less was more, I only applied to the zits and left on overnight. When I woke up, I could not remove the product. The label claims that you can easily tissue it off, but after my facial scrub and vigorous rubbing failed, I had to remove it with Vaseline to get the blue gunk off my face. (Side Note: Vaseline is excellent for calming blemishes and leaves my face incredibly soft in the morning. I don't know why I didn't stick with that instead!) Having said all that, I don't recommend this product if you have intolerable skin or little patience.

Not many people know about this product but Instyle Magazine voted Kiehl's Drawing Paste one of the best beauty products in 2001 and they aren't wrong. The small 14g pot contains a grey/blue mix of Azulene, Calendula, Kaolin and a host of other selected ingredients to get rid of spots. If you apply a thin layer over the affected area (make sure it's clean) for a few hours or overnight, the Zinc Oxide draws the impurities out and you wake up with a much smaller spot or no spot at all! Excess product can be tissued away easily. Calendula is a fantastic soothing agent and prevents the skin from scarring. A lot of people with oily skin find this gentle product useful since it controls surface oil without drying out the skin. It doesn't have to be used often since it does it's job after a couple of nights but it varies for everyone. Drawing Paste doesn't have a pleasent smell like some of the other Kiehls products but this is because it doesn't contain perfume. It smells awful from the pot but once applied to the face, you can hardly smell it since you only need a small amount. For the results you get, the smell is worth it!
