As you can see on my profile, i'm greek and proud :).Korres is one of the most trusted and successful greek skincare brands and what makes it special is the fact that most of its ingredients are natural.
*the pomegranate moisturizing cream- gel*
Korres face care products are categorized according to our ages and skin types.
the pomegranate moisturizing cream- gel (20+) has been created for oily to combination skin.It is recommended to be used by women between the ages of 20 and 25.There are a lot of different korres face creams made for each age group especially:
wild rose (25+)
quercetin and oak (35+)
black pine (50+)
It is really effective and does as promised, has a moisturizing and balancing activity, tightens the pores and rejuvenates the skin, regulates sebum production and delivers a matte finish to the skin. Its texture is something between a cream and a gel.Cool and fresh!
Its results are wonderful! The skin becomes smooth, baby-soft and non- oily. All you have to do is apply a small amount of the cream-gel with the tip of your finger to your forehead and cheeks and then smear it.Don't put a lot of product on your face, it's easily spread out and absorbed so there's no need to waste it.Lasts all day long and keeps the disturbing oil shine away successfully. You can keep it a long time that way.Its price is 25.60 euros, which is really low for what it offers.Often comes with a gift set, like the pomegranate face soap and a lip balm.
The main ingredient is the Pomegranate , which is widely used for its antioxidant properties. The other key ingredient is the alpine Willowherb.
93.1% natural content, dermatologically tested and all pakaging components are recycable. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans (yay!). No animal has been tested and it does NOT contain alcohol.
What more do you need? It's the perfect combination!friendly to your skin ( doesnt's contain chemicals) and the environment!Has a really refreshing and light pomegranate scent that makes you feel confident and beautiful!
I totally recommend this product and i think that korres is a step forward to connect us and our beauty products to the nature!Wear it without remorse because you don't hurt your skin or the environment and the animals.Think that you can easily find it in all of the countries , but if not you can order it online http://www.korres.com/default.aspx?page_id=302.
This is the official korres page, check it out yourselves! :) http://www.korres.com/default.aspx
I first came across this product after being given a free sachet of it when I purchased some other things from Korres. I love the idea of using skincare with natural ingredients, and Korres is a particularly appealing brand because it is Greek. I'm not sure why, but if a beauty product has a foreign name I'm immediately intrigued (particularly if it's French). Anyway, I am completely convinced that companies put extra special ingredients into the little free samples they give out, so that people will love the product and go buy it.
That's what happened with me & Korres pomegranate moisturiser. I loved the fragrance of it, and I loved the way it made my skin feel, so I went out and bought a 10ml tube of it for £4 to test it out on a longer basis.
This moisturiser is designed for oily skin; it is supposed to moisturise your skin while making it a bit less oily. The product DOES do this, but I noticed that it left my skin feeling incredibly sticky. I usually like to use moisturiser as a base for make-up, but I couldn't do it with this product, as it would hone in on any dry areas I have and dry them out further, which is very obvious when you have blusher on. I've said this about another Korres moisturiser and I think it applies to this one too: only get it if your skin is very oily, otherwise your skin will be left thirsty!
In saying that, it cannot be faulted in terms of what it says it will do, as it certainly does endeavour to balance out oily skin. It also smells of sweet pomegranates; a smell I really like. I think it is quite reasonably priced, but I wouldn't recommend buying the big tub before you have tried a smaller tube of it to see if it actually suits your skin type. I'm not sure if the smaller ones are available online, but you can certainly get them from a Korres shop.
I may try this out again in summer when I go on holiday, as that is when my skin really needs a bit of rebalancing. In the meantime, I'm dabbing it on my neck and wrists alongwith my perfume (YSL Baby Doll), as the smells mix well together!
