“ Brand: L'Oréal / Type: Face Scrub / Subcategory: Foam / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types / What it does: Exfoliates / Product line: L'Oréal Perfect Clean „
I bought this on impulse after the bottle caught my eye.
I have to admit that at first I thought the scrublet was there to stick the bottle onto the wall of a shower, so when I discovered it was actually there to be used with the product I was even more impressed.
Of course, you can still stick the scrublet to the shower wall if you want, but what I tend to do is leave it in the bottle, so it's always at hand when I need it.
I'm very impressed with this product. It states it's a new way to cleanse, and I agree with that. The scrub itself feels great on my skin, the bits are perfect for deep cleansing while not being too harsh, and I love the addition of the scrublet. It really is a great combination, and I find it really easy to squeeze a little of the scrub onto the scrublet, then gently cleanse my face in small, circular movements.
I love that after exfoliating you can actually see the dirt on the scrublet, which I know, sounds gross, but I like to know that the product is actually doing its job. The scrublet itself is very easily cleaned, before popped back onto the bottle for next time.
The scent of the product is great, and each time that I've used it I've been left feeling fresh-faced and my skin tingly clean. A bonus is the fact that very little of the product needs to be used with each cleanse. It means the bottle will last for a long time, which is great in terms of cost effectiveness.
A thumbs up from me for sure.
I am someone who suffers from a skin condition (psoriasis) that regularly leaves me having a large amount of dried and dead skin (psoriasis causes for the body to mistakenly produce too many new skin cells and so kill off the ones already there which leads to dead and dry skin appearing in my case) and so I can regularly have a situation where my face suffers a situation where a large amount of the skin has died overnight and leaves me looking awful and not wanting to leave my flat for anything (including work) but thankfully L'Oréal has now released Perfect Clean exfoliating face wash which is a huge help.
L'Oréal Perfect Clean leaves skin feeling exceptionally clean and refreshed and with the exfoliating action of this one from the range it quickly and easily removed dead skin cells which helps to keep your skin looking its best (this is coming from someone who suffers really badly with dead and dry skin regularly).
The face wash is one which has a gentle foaming action and so a little of it will go a long way whilst ensuring that your skin is cleansed in a gentle and kind way. As my skin can be sore when it is dried out then I need a product that is going to be gentle to the new and fresh skin which is forming and thankfully this is a product which I have never had any problems with like other washes out there.
L'Oréal Perfect Clean smells lovely and fresh with the exfoliating version smelling of citrus so that it provides an uplifting scent as you scrub away the dirt and dead skin cells.
L'Oréal Perfect Clean comes with a little rubber scrubbing pad called a "scrublet" which allows for you to clean away the dirt and dead skin cells with a gentle, soft and flexible brush making it easy to ensure that you don't miss any bits due to the natural contours of the face. The scrublet fits in to a little circular hole in the top part of this bottle and has a sucker on the back of it to enable you to put it on to a tile in your shower if you wish to keep it close to hand (I use the scrublet with other facial wash products).
This is a brilliant product but one which does cost you around about £4-£5 a bottle but for me this is still a great value product as you will find the bottle will last you for ages thanks to the great foaming action meaning you use so little each time.
Overall I highly recommend L'Oréal Perfect Clean Exfoliating Foaming Gentle Scrub to anyone who loves their skin to feel clean and healthy with the minimum effort possible. If like me you suffer from skin conditions that can lead to dry or dead skin cells on your face then this is a product that will quickly and easily clear this away without leaving your skin feeling sore and irritated. The scrublet that comes with the wash makes this a very clever piece of kit to clean your skin as thoroughly as you can. One bottle will last you ages and so provide you with a great value product that gives top quality cleaning power but in a gentle way.
I have to admit, I only bought this product because of the pop out 'scrublet'! However I am a huge fan of beauty products and I just had to buy this one and try it out!
*Loreal Perfect Clean*
I had never seen nor heard of this product before spotting it in Boots. This Perfect Clean Foaming Wash is designed to remove dirt, oil and make up from your skin whilst deeply cleansing your pores. To help with this process you are given a Scrublet, brilliant! The Scrublet is attached to the bottle and you can replace it there after use so you will never be without it. The Scrublet is soft and flexible and has a great effect on your skin in use. Another great thing about the Scrublet is that it can be stuck to a tile, shower or mirror so you can have it handy for use.
The aim of the combination of this duo is to create an intensive cleaning experience, which is what it certainly does!
The bottle contains 150ml. The ingredients are as follows:
Aqua/water sodium laureth sulfate, sodium chloride, polyethylene, acrylates copolymer, coco-betaine, ppg-5-ceteth-20, glycerin, sodium hydroxide, prunus armenaca seed powder, citric acid, benzyl salicylate, sodium benzoate, salicylic acid, parfum.
There are 3 variations in total of this product, there is this one which is pink and is a foaming wash, there is an orange one which is an exfoliator (I can't wait to try this one) and there is a blue one which is a foaming gel wash.
*How to Use*
1. Once you have freed the Scrublet from the bottle you need to place it between your fingers so that the circular part of the Scrublet is under your hand, facing down.
2. You then need to apply some of the foaming wash into the Scrublet. You do however only need a small amount as it will foam up when it hits water, this is great because then the bottle lasts so much longer!
3. Then you gently massage the wash onto your face, using the Scrublet. Your face must be wet first however so that the foaming wash can form a lather on your face.
4. Once you are satisfied that your face has been truly washed thoroughly you simply rinse your face with warm water (and the Scrublet of course)!
This is a great product, it does not leave your face feeling dry which is what I look for in a good facial cleanser. The Scrublet is a great asset to the product as it massages your face as well as giving it a deep clean. You do not need to use a lot of the wash therefore it does last a long time. I love how the wash foams up also as it gives a great feel to your skin and leaves an amazing soft feel. The wash smells delicious also which is a great plus!
I bought the product for about £5 from Boots which I think is really good value after using the product. It will last me for a long time yet and I will definitely be buying some more once I have used it all up. I will probably even try the other variations of this product that Loreal has and then settle on a favourite.
It is not very often that I find a facial wash that I stick to as a better one usually comes along, however this product is great and affordable! I love the combination of the wash and the Scrublet and it would be a great product to take on holiday. I have noticed a real difference in my skin since using this product, it is a lot softer and I have less blemishes which tells me that it really is cleansing my pores. I will be sure to let you know if I find a better product!
A Perfect Clean from Loreal, 10 out of 10!

As a lot of people may know exfoliating is an important part of skin care and the main thing that drew me to this product was the handy circular scrublet that comes with it! This product contains 150 mls of an apricot scented foaming scrub. The gel itself is quite light and obviously includes smaller pieces which actually exfoliate the skin when applied. I quite like the scrub itself as the consistency has a nice balance between exfoliating pieces and cleansing scrub so it isn't too harsh on the skin. You don't need to use much product as when using the scrublet and rubbed on to your face the product does foam well.
After using this product the skin does feel refreshed, softer and smells lovely. The scrublet I think makes applying the product a lot easier. The scrublet is made of gentle rubber and feels soft against the skin. It's flexible and easy to use and to hold so you're able to apply the product nicely and easily on the face. I only wonder sometimes if this scrub is perhaps a bit too gentle. But I feel this depends on how much of a scrub is desired! If you want something, gentle, light and cleansing then this is definitely a recommendation. If not I'd suggest products such as Aapri which offers a stronger exfoliated effect.
This year's been particularly gruelling in that I have been working flat out at work, then with my degree and also on two major home renovation projects while dealing with day-to-day life... it was no wonder I suppose that I then starting picking on my skin.... literally, the teeniest bump/lump would have to be picked (I know it sounds disgusting!!) Anyway, I didn't realise I was doing this while revising/working on things - then once it became obvious I sought to find a solution....
I wanted a face wash that would exfoliate my skin mildly - and not irritate it even more than it was already, while trying to remedy the problem I had of attacking myself!
I initially chose the oily skin version of this (white) without realising that it was for oily skin, and was wondering for the week why my face felt like it wanted to rip itself away from me.... I was moisturising my face much more than usual, and then when I took a moment to read what I had actually been applying, I saw that I had chosen the wrong product! I then gave purchased this one, and gave the oily one to my younger brother who suffers from oily skin... swapping the little applicator and have found that this one serves me much much better!!
To apply, you use this little round plastic applicator which is gripped between two fingers and then a small dollop of the facial cleaner is put onto it, then rubbed against the skin and rotated to cleanse it... Initially it looks like this may be rough, but in actually fact is it very soft and feels nice against the skin... you can see all the dirt and grime (if any) coming off the skin and it can then be placed back in the centre/middle and has a plug effect on the back which can be stuck in the shower or on tiled surfaces....
All in all, this is an excellent product as it is so versatile, and smells/feels good..... the cleanser/applicator is great and even once this product has finished I will definiately be using that again!! Great buy for around £5!!
~A scrubby little face wash~
Having tried all three of the L'Oreal Perfect Clean washes including the 'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub I feel that the best thing about the range of products has to be the super little face puff that you get with your bottle of face wash, as this really takes what is a very pleasant and easy to use product up to the next level of skin care. Not only does the face puff or scrublet as it is known as have a nice light and easy texture to it, the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub itself leaves your skin feeling smoother and lightly exfoliated with no redness at all when used with care.
The bottle that the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub comes in is the same as the rest of the L'Oreal Perfect Clean range with a quirky yet effective shape which is handy for storing your scrublet in when the scrub is not in use. The bottle has an easy to open lid and it takes very little effort to gently squeeze out a small amount of the scrub in order to use it. I feel that although I do favour the warming sensation that you get from some other face scrubs that are around at the moment, on the whole the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub is a nice product that is a pleasure to use.
~How to use the scrublet~
The face puff or scrublet that you get with your bottle of L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub is what I really like the most about it and the good thing is that even when you run out of the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub and have to throw away the empty bottle, you get to keep the little scrublet and can use it with other products if wanted. The scrublet has a large number of teeny bristles on it that work to massage the skin and cleanse it at the same time, giving a fresh lightly exfoliated feel with very little effort.
To use the scrublet you need to pop it out of the wash bottle and make sure that you are using it on already damp skin as it won't work well on dry skin and could cause redness. Just a small amount of the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub is enough to give your face a nice gently cleansed effect as the product will foam lightly when on your skin once the scrublet is moved across your face with a light circular movement. The texture of the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub makes it easy to use a small amount of scrub to get a good effect, although I did find that I had to use a little more of this than with the other two L'Oreal Perfect Clean washes I have used.
Once you are happy that you have used the scrub to clean and invigorate your skin you just need to wash the residue off and dry your skin gently with a soft towel. This process is very easy to do and from start to finish you can use the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub in just a few minutes if wanted. When not using the scrublet it can be tucked back into its place in the centre of the L'Oreal Perfect Clean wash bottle ready to be used the next time you need it. You can also keep the scrublet stuck on to on tiles or mirrors in the bathroom once the bottle is finished for use with other products which is useful.
~Price and rating~
The cost of the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub seems to sit at £5.10 in many stores which seems about average for similar products and I feel that this L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub offers value for money as you are getting the scrub and the scrublet which can be re used with other products later on. The way that the product works means that it takes next to no time to have fresher feeling cleansed skin and the fragrance and texture of the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub make it very nice to use. I didn't have any problems when using the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub and I found it made a good job of doing what it was made to do.
As you get a good amount of L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub, with each bottle containing 150mls of the foaming scrub/ wash in it, it does last some time when in use. I found that when I was using the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub it seemed to leave my skin feeling soft and clean with no dryness or redness at all which made it something I liked using. Over all I feel that the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub with its simple to use and easy to store scrublet is a nice skin care product that I would use again and as such I feel it ought to get a 4 star product rating.
I tried the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gentle Scrub before I moved on to the L'Oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Cream Wash when I became pregnant and needed something slightly more gentle for my combination skin (the difference in appearance is that the scrub is in a gold bottle and the foaming cream is in a light pink bottle).
The scrub is a creamy, rich foaming scrub with tiny beads / particles which are rubbed against the body and face, exfoliating dead skin cells and ostensibly encouraging younger brighter skin to be revealed. The best way to achieve this is to rub the foam in circular motions around the body; it foams up well and feels very cleansing - you cannot use it on your eyes but it is suitable for use on the face.
You then splash off (or bathe, or shower) the foam, and pat your skin dry, following up with your usual moisturiser. You might look a bit pink afterward - this is normal - but be aware it's probably better to exfoliate in the evening rather than in a morning rush, given that you don't want to either go out with pink skin or have to apply make up on top of it.
It works well though - the skin is soft after it's 'scrubbing' (though it is a bit milder than that!) and the moisturiser seems to sink in better to new skin than old. I wouldn't use this every day though it is gentle enough to do so - I tended to use this every other day. However if you live in a very congested area or work in a smelly or messy environment this is a great way to get the muck out of the pores!
I moved on to a non exfoliant version due to my skin changing during pregnancy but after I give birth I'd be happy to go back to this - it's a very nice product.
I saw the recent advertising campaign for this, relatively new, face wash from L'oreal and my first impression was that it looked gimmicky. When I saw it on special offer though I figured I had nothing to lose by giving it a whirl!
L'oreal produce many face washes as part of several different product ranges and, on the whole, I haven't tried many. They did use to make a brilliant, exfoliating facewash which I used as a teenager that they frustratingly discontinued. This was my holy grail face wash so I had hopes that this new product might be something similar.
The idea behind the wash is that it is applied using the little pad provided. The pad is soft, pliable plastic that incorporates lots of little, soft bristles. The pad is then used in small, circular motions to unclog pores and exfoliate. The wash itself contains tiny particles to aid the gentle exfoliation process. The packaging is original, incorporating a hole in the centre into which the application pad fits. The back of the pad is moulded into a sucker which, L'oreal claims, can be used to stick the bottle to your bathroom tiles. Mine just falls off after two minutes though.
The pad is small, a couple of inches in diameter, and has a 'stem' on the back (the sucker) which is designed to fit ergonomically between the index and middle fingers. It does this nicely and is easy to grip and use. The bottle dispenses the product simply by squeezing gently. The product smells fresh and, despite being orange in colour, smells distinctively (and pleasantly) of kiwis! I tend to apply the wash directly to the pad rather than to my face first. Light circular motions with the pad and wash create a slight lather and it feels like a gentle massage. Not scratchy at all and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I can only feel the pad exfoliating my face and I'm not really sure how effective the particles in the wash actually are though.
Post wash my skin feels clean and isn't tight which is always a bonus! The exfoliating properties aren't as substantial as more specific products I've used (St Ives apricot scrubs for example) but are effective enough for an everyday product. My skin didn't break out post-use which I was pleased with as different products can sometimes affect my skin this way.
I'm still not sure whether I'm really impressed with just the wash on its own, although it does smell lovely! I do really like the massage-y pad applicator though and might be tempted just to use this with my normal Boots facewash.
I am usually in safe territory with Loreal products and this is one I tried recently after finding it on offer. The normal retail price is about three pounds for a bottle and it can be bought from all leading supermarkets and Boots stores.
The product joins the Foaming Gel Wash, which is similar but in a different coloured bottle. Look for an orangey coloured bottle if you fancy trying this one. I have to award marks for a very original packaging design. The curious shape is an instant draw and sets it apart from everything else on the maket and the price also keeps it in line with Simple's prices.
it comes with a bizarre rubery applicator brush to squeeze the product onto. The idea being that you rub the brush over the wet face to work the scrub into the skin. You could also use your hands, but the brush does help to stimulate the skin and generate a deeper cleanse. I found the brush fiddly, but it felt nice and massaged the skin well.
The product does foam up well like a shaving foam after it hits water and it produces a rich luxurious lather. Not that potent, so ideal for sensitive noses like mine, though I wouldn't have minded a fruity flavour to give it some kick.
Very subtle exfoliating agents delivered a good deep down scrub for my skin and while it failed to remove blackheads around the nose and forehead area, what it did do was leave skin squaky clean and touchably soft. It certainly performed as well as the Simple cleanser which I often use and also stood up to the standards of some of the Lush facial cleansers. It works for daily use and left my skin looking fresh and cleansed and with some glow too. The price is an attraction and this would be something I would dip into again.
Saw the advert and felt that I had to try it. I bought it striaght away and can't get enough of it.
It is a scrub gel that turns into a foam when is applied onto a wet face. It comes with a little exfoliating scrublet which is very useful. It can be popped into de container itself or onto a mirror or a tiled wall, I have also found that it sticks to any plastic or plastic coated surface because it is made from rubber.
The Foamng Scrub is so gentle and doesn't leave your skin feeling irritated and dry. On the back of the container there is a label which can be peeled off to reveal some instructions about ow to apply this product.
The product is affective from day 1, your skin will feel a lot smoother and your pores will be appear smaller immidietly. I would recommend using the product every morning and evening to acheive great results.
It is reasonably priced at around £4.99 at my local boots store. It is available at most large drug stores and most boots stores too.
Personally I think it has a great smell, to me it smells like mango which I adore, maybe it is not to everyones taste but it definitely does the job despite the smell.
Applying this product is very simple, simply squeeze a small amount onto the scrublet, place between fingers and apply on a wet face. When done, rinse the srublet with warm water and rinse your face thoroughly.
The only downside I can think of is that when the container is more than half way full, it tends to fall over due to the shape and weight of the bottle, also if you have spots, (which I do) it can leave them quite red when you start to use this product but no major dissapointments so far.
If you do suffer from acne than I would advise you to use your regular cleaning product for spots aswell as this, this is great for pores but not spots.
This, for me is perfect, it will not dissapoint.
This is a gentle facial exfoliator produced by L'oreal Paris. This is an orange facial wash with small orange beads in it that gently exfoliate your face as you wash with it. In the middle of the bottle is a white rubber brush that you squeeze the facial wash onto and they use this to wash your face. This costs around £2.99 and you can buy from Boots and Superdrug.
This is a great product to use. My skin is quite sensitive and easily irritated. And this is one product that works well on my skin. The wash doesn't really have much fragrance. It is harsh enough to exfoliate your face but gentle enough that it doesn't leave you red or sore after.
The applicator that the was comes with this product is really unusual but really great. The best was to describe it is like a round flat piece of rubber will small soft rubber spikes that you use to massage the face wash into your face. It works really well. It has a sucker on the back which you can stick onto the tiles in your bathroom or just keep it in the middle of the bottle where it is.
This doesn't make my face tight like some face washes I have used in the past. My skin does feel smoother after using this and does feel really clean. This is a product which i use one or two twice a week helps keep my skin in tip top condition.
Now when it comes to picking facial cleansers I find it difficult to stick to one brand for long, if they didn't keep coming out with new and strange contraption to wash your face with - just makes them look so attractive, especially if they are on offer. This one was no exception if I am being fair they were advertised on the television and I immediately wanted to give it a try, until I got to Boots and didn't realise their was more than one type and then took about twenty minutes to decide which one I wanted. After much deliberation, I decided on this one and have been using it ever since.
~*~ So What Is It? ~*~
Exfoliating Foaming Gentle Scrub!
This is a facewash with a difference, that gently removes dirt, oil and make up by using the innovative scrublet that comes in the packaging. The face wash itself comes with little exfoliating beads in it that, foam on your skin - which helps exfoliate when rubbed into your skin. It is a facewash that is used for deep cleansing as the scrublet that you get with it is good for getting into your pores and giving you that deep cleansing feeling. It also claims to leave your skin velvety smooth, which is not suprising giving the depth the scrublet can go to in your skin!
~*~ How Do I Spot It? ~*~
Quite easily, as it is very different to anything else in the L'Oreal range of facewashes and infact there are not many products that use the same kind of application to wash the skin. (Except Garnier but they copied months after!) It comes in a tube that stands on it's lid with a big round top which houses the scrublet. The tube itself has a hole in the back where the sucker from the scrublet can be attatched to your bathroom wall, or shower wall - for convienient usage. The face wash is a orange colour with red-ish coloured exfoliating beads in it... It is definately not something you will miss, if you don't see the orange packaging, you will more than likely see the pink or blue tube. It has L'oreal across it, you definately won't miss it if you are looking in the right place in your Boots, Superdrug or chemist that stocks it.
~*~ Is It Easy To Use? ~*~
In a word yes, it is very simple to use - there are instructions on the L'oreal website and on the back of the packaging, but personally I use it slightly differently. They say to just squeeze some of the wash onto the scrublet and start to massage the face, but I prefer to wet the scrublet first because it foams into a better lather. After that as long as you massage the wash into your face all over targetting areas that need more exfoliation, you can't go wrong - when you have finished rinse off your face with warm water and pat dry to see and feel instant results.
~*~ So Is It Any Good? ~*~
Brilliant! I was fairly dubious but at the same time excited to try it, mainly because it was something new and it had a soft, rubber scrublet to use with it. Can't you tell I'm a sucker for a gimmick! The scrublet seemed a bit exotic for something I would usually buy, but with the promise of smooth skin I was happy to oblige, so I popped out the scrublet and poured out some wash onto it, and began to rub into my face. I was pleasantly suprised with the way the product foamed, many products claim they foam on your skin, but really just sit there and you really have to work at it - this however did literally foam on contact with my skin, it did need a little help but I was not scrubbing at my face to get it to foam.
The smell of the wash itself, is actually gorgeous - it is a very citrusy smell that lasts for ages, something I could happily smell for hours. It is a great scent for first thing in the morning too, as it is very much a big burst of scent that is very refreshing to wake you up, without being too sharp that it would make your eyes water. If I could have my face smelling like that all day I'd be more than happy because it's a really nice smell!!
The scrublet itself despite being quite simple is really useful, because it has the beauty of each individual prong that can get into areas deeper than you could get a wipe or your fingers. The prongs, are also great for getting into those little cracks like down the side of your nose, where I find little blighters hide and scrub away at them. The scrublet, however torturous I may have made it sound, is really soft and the prongs are very flexible into anywhere you might want to scrub, and the bonus is it doesn't make your face red or sore it just does it's job. When washing the product off it comes off really easily with a couple of splashes of warm water, because it has foamed it just disappears off down the plug hole without you having to drown yourself in water to get off the exfoliating beads!
The facewash itself helps to take off all the dead skin cells, so it definately leaves your skin looking and feeling refreshed, and slightly moisturised too. I am not sure if it has mositurising properties in it but my face feels less tight after using this, than a normal facewash. Where most of this style of facewash falls down is the actual cleanliness of the skin in regard to spots, most fash washes I have tried with exfoliants in have been useless at helping clear up spots. This however doesn't drop the ball, once it has cleared out the pores of oil and dirt, it genuinely helps clear up spots. Not as much as perhaps an anti-bacterial facewash would, but it helps keep those big red throbbing spots at bay, for me personally it also helps keep those pesky blackheads at bay since I am very prone to them on my nose. Scrubbing away at my nose twice a day with this wash seems to prevent them from coming back on a daily basis so I recommend this if you are unlucky enough to be troubled by black or even whiteheads!
According to the L'oreal website and 110 women who have tested this...
Results with every use*:
Skin is deeply cleansed: 86%
Skin is refreshed: 97%
Skin is soft: 90%
Skin is comfortable: 93%
I am not going to disagree with that because everytime I use it I find these things for my skin...
Now it is not just for women, I even got my boyfriend to try it over a weekend - and he found that it made his skin feel clearer and softer. Where his regular facewash used to make his face dry this one meant he didn't have to use any moisturiser - yep my man uses moisturiser! So it had the thumbs up from a man as well... So L'Oreal it's good for both sexes!
~*~ Price and Availability ~*~
Now I personally have only seen this facewash in Boots, Superdrug and Tesco... It is more than likely going to be around in other stores too but I am yet to see it!
I bought my facewash for £3.49 from Boots a little while ago and by now it will have gone back up to full price of £4.99 but it is more than worth that price because it is just that good.. Even more so if you find it on offer! Have a look around for deals but even if it's not on offer give it a try!
After trying the new L'oreal Perfect clean foaming wash, I was desperate to try other products from this fantastic and innovative new range. After already having a good impression of L'oreal from other products I was convinced that this would be just as good and I haven't been disappointed.
In the new 'Perfect Clean' range was a foaming cream wash (pink bottle), a foaming gentle scrub (this product) and a foaming gel wash (blue bottle). There is also a new product on the way in a white and green bottle called the purifying gel wash. You definately don't need all of the products, but I would recommend buying one of the face washes as well as this foaming gentle scrub to use intermittently for the most effective skincare regime.
I really liked the look of these products because of the round 'scrublet', which is the soft and flexible cleansing brush, attached through a little sucker in a hole in the top of the bottle. This seemed a particularly good idea as I often find that face washes and scrubs don't seem to get into my pores enough so with this scrublet I hoped it would be a more effective clean.
Perfect Clean promises to gently remove dirt, oil & make-up for a deep pore cleansing experience, and I wasn't at all disappointed with it's claims after I had used it. The scrublet itself is very soft, and feels almost gel like with hundreds of tiny little raised sections. The scrublet can be suckered back into the product, or it can suction itself to the side of your bath or sink. I also liked using the scrublet as you can literally see every speck of dirt and oil that comes off your face on to it, as it's so white. It washes very easily after use.
The foaming scrub is for all skin types, but for those with sensitive skin, be warned that this product isn't fragrance free. The bottle size is 150ml, but the face scrub is so effective that you only need a small amount for each use, so you really would get quite a lot of use out of this small ish bottle. The face scrub leaves your skin feeling soft and very clean after use. I can definitely tell I've exfoliated after I have used it.
One of the bonuses of this product for me was the smell. Absolutely devine! It has the most beautiful passion fruit smell, and I find that I really enjoy using it mainly due to the smell but also because of the funky scrublet (and also because it works!).
Below is some information taken from the L'oreal site, whereby 110 consumers tested it.

I urge you to try this new product (or at least one of the products from the range) and its currently on offer in Boots with £1.50 of its RRP of £4.99.
