“ Brand: Lacura / Type: Face Mask / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types „
Lacura is a beauty brand made especially for Aldi stores. I'd not tried any of the range until I picked up a box of Dead Sea Mud Mask sachets. The whole range is simply packaged in white with LACURA in basic grey font. Instead however, of looking like basics products, I think the simplicity of the design makes them look very sophisticated and I wouldn't ashamed of displaying them on my bathroom shelf.
I purchashed the box of Mud Mask sachets for £2.99. Not ridiculously cheap but cheaper than I would usually buy masks for. I usually purchase a sachet for 99p an this box contained 4, so far so good.
The front of the box says that the masks contain aloe vera, chamomile and zinc an help to reduce spots, blackheads and impurities. The directions tell you to cleanse your skin first and then apply the mask. After 10-15 minutes, rinse off.
I use scissors to open the sachets. The tearing thing never works. The liquid inside is brown gloopy and gritty, it's not pretty stuff, and no perfume I could detect. There is a good amount of product per sachet, the box says 1-2 applications which I thought was a bit odd. Which is it? It's not as if faces differ that much in size. I tend to use the whole sachet mainly due to the fact the rest would dry out by the time I did the next one but I guess if there's two of you, you could share a sachet.
After my 15 minutes were up the mask had dried on some parts of my face but not others. I rinsed an used circular motions to wipe off the mask, the little particles helping to exfoliate the skin.
After use my skin felt clean, refreshed and not tight like you sometimes get with masks. It did not remove blackheads, these things never do, but overall I was pleased with results.
For the price, it's a good product. Would buy again.
