I have very pale skin that has a tendency to be rather dry so finding a good moisturiser is a must. Over the years I have found a handful that are good and actually do what they say on the tub. My aunty got me a tub of the above Lancome cream as she noticed it had SPF (15) coverage which is something we had discussed not long ago. We haven't seen much of the sun lately but the UV rays are always about and pale skin should really always have some sort of protection on. Even when choosing make up I'm checking the SPF coverage.
I much prefer to put cream on at night before going to bed as with two young boys I can easily forget myself in the rush to school but since getting this tub I have made a conscious effort to spend the 1 minute required to apply it.
The cream itself is milky and smooth. It works its way into the skin fast so that there is enough to keep your skin hydrated but not too much to make you look shiny.
Lancome says it fights the 1st signs of aging such as wrinkles instantly making skin smoother. I don't yet have any wrinkles (fingers crossed this continues) but it does make my skin feel and look young and refreshed. According to the box the cream has gentle defoliants to stimulate skin cell renewal.
I'm hoping this tub lasts me a while as I saw the 50ml tub on the Boots website for £48. I've never spent that much on a moisturiser and just don't have the money to do that. Sadly when this tub is gone that will be it for me. I'll have to go back to my other cheaper ones.
In all honesty even though this Lancome one is lovely I have found a few others that are just as good with a price tag half the size.
