“ Brand: Lancaster / Type: Day Cream / UV Protection Factor: SPF 15 / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types / What it does: Enriches, Lifts / Product line: Lancaster Suractif „
I am not familiar with this brand but I am glad one of my friends passed this cream to me due to her over expanding cosmetics collection .
It comes packed in 50ml glass minimalist and stylish glass jar with an gold top. Inside there is a light scented white creamy moisturiser. I do not think it has an offensive smell, it quite light and non chemical. The texture of it is really light, not like the usual sun screen creams which feel really heavy and greasy.
It gets absorbed easily into my dry skin and leaves behind an heavenly velvety texture.
I have also been using it regularly under my foundation and it does a pretty good job in stopping my make-up looking cakey half way trough the day. I usually use an primer from INIKA after I apply face cream in general, and I find that even my primer tends to slide better on my face now.
I have been using it for about 4 weeks every day now, I found it most useful due to it's SPF 15 factor so I've put it to good use especially while I was ridding my bicycle to protect from the sun.
In the first week I was applying this cream on my face I got a slight muscle tingly sensation.
This cream is suppose to lift, firm and re-contour the skin while reducing the fine lines. I would not say I have observed my skin becoming more lifted, firm or re-countered as they claim, but due to it's highly moisturising proprieties the fine lines on my face do appear visibly reduced , but then again I think I would get the same out of using some simple Rosehip oil. I am only 30 years old and my skin looks good to begin with, on the website is says it would be beneficial for women in their 40's.
I have not noticed any skin irritation out of it, I seem to tolerate it quite well .
This cream costs new over £30 and is made in Monaco. I do not think I would go and buy it myself in the future but I will use this until I finish it and slap it on my face generously for sun protection this summer. I think it will make a decent sun screen from my limited experience of these spring summer days I experienced so far.
