Liz Earle Muslin Cloths
Advantages: Makes skin super soft
When I received my Elle Subscription gift of Liz Earle goodies, my box contained 4 of these muslin cloths to use alongside my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (Review is now up!).
I couldn't really see how using a muslin cloth could be any different to me using a regular facial flannel but it makes a huge difference.
The Liz Earle Muslin Cloths are sold in either packs of 2 or 8 and are priced at £3.55 or £8.65 respectivly. These also come with various sets you can buy on the Liz Earle website.
The cloths themselves are of a very good size, white in colour with a pale green trim around the outer edges. They feel super soft and I have had mine for around 4 months and have all been washed many many times and still feel super soft and have not gone bobbly and they also still remain white in colour which I thought after using them to take my makeup off at night they would be now covered in various mascara and foundation stains.
The muslin cloths are great for exfoliating skin on a daily basis as they are not too harsh and you can't cause any damage to your skin as they are so gentle. They also help to stimulate the circulation as you are at the same time as cleansing your face, exfoliating at the same time.
On the Liz Earle website it reccomends that you use them in a circular massage movement to help stimulate the skin, get rid of dead skin cells and lift away makeup.
After the first time of using one of these alongside my cleanser I could not believe how smooth my skin felt and the next morning after using it, I could actually tell a huge difference as I was applying my makeup and since using these I have had lots of comments about how smooth and soft my skin looks, something that I have never had before.
Each time I have used one of these cloths I rinse well in some hot tap water and then I hang to dry over my towel rail in the bathroom, by the next time I go to use them they have dried out and are ready to be used again. Every few days (usually 2) I just pop them in the wash with my whites and it keeps them fresh and clean also.
I would definately re-purchase these as I really feel like they make a big difference towards my skincare routine.
Summary: A rebuy!
