When I hear the word 'toner', I still have mental flashbacks to my years as a teen. Having decided at the grand old age of 13 to follow the 'cleanse, tone, moisturise' routine I'd read about in Cosmo, I bought a bottle of cheap toner from Superdrug. Not only did this foul stuff reek of sulfur, but it was harsher than paintrstripper acid on my skin, leaving it drier than the Sahara desert. Liz Earle's Instant Boost Skin Tonic couldn't be a more different experience. It's pleasantly packaged, in the signature turquoise colour of the Earle range and it smells just divine - like a cross between a freshly bathed baby and a floral garden. Containing ... I have always heard good things about the Liz Earle range of cosmetics and I was fortunate enough to be given her Superskin Concentrate last year, which I really liked. Liz Earle's ethos is to use plant based ingredients, avoiding animal ingredients, (but some 'animal-friendly ones such as beeswax and honey are used in certain products) and they don't test on animals. They try and source ingredients sustainably and ethically, and don't use excess packaging. This is an ethos I subscribe to and it is always nice to come across a company so transparent about their policies. There is a lot more information on their website for those who are interested. ... Liz Earle has an amazing range of skincare products, the Instant Boost Skin Tonic is one of my favourites. The ingrediants used include 'Organic aloe vera, calendula, rose-scented geranium, cucumber and natural vitamin E'. This is a facial toner which claims to revitalise, sooth and tone, I can agree with all of this and this is the best toner I have ever used. Bottle The bottle is tall and pale green, this colour is used many times throughout the Liz Earle range. The bottle has a twist cap which allows you to control the amount of product you want. You can purchase this in a bottle or spritzer and either in 50ml or 200ml. Smell The ... Read the complete review

Product: Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Price: £11.50, 200ml From: http://uk.lizearle.com/ Overview: I've been using the Liz Earle Skin Tonic for a few months now, as i've been using it consistently ever since I feel now is the time I can do a accurate and honest review. I purchased the Tonic from Liz Earle's official online website which i've noted above. I paid £11.50 for the 200ml, bottled tonic, you can also purchase it in a spritzer bottle. Prices vary depending on the size of the tonic so if you're unsure you can always test by buying a smaller bottle first: 200ml bottle: £11.50 200ml ... Read the complete review

A few months ago QVC did a Today's Special Value offer of a round 10 Liz Earle products for a bargain price. I snapped one up, as there were three products from the range I had really wanted to try - the Cleanse and Polish cleanser, The Eyebright eye lotion and finally this, the Instant Boost Skin Tonic. To be totally honest I can't actually remember what it was about this product that made me want to try it so much. Possibly I'd heard the QVC presenters rave about it and fallen for the hype like I normally do! This product is a toner and contains 'naturally active ingredients' of organic aloe vera, calendula, rose scented geranium, cucumber and ... Read the complete review
