Lush Eau Roma Water - Toner Water
Yep, it's another Lush product! Sorry guys but seriously I do love these products and it is so much nicer reviewing things that you love! Am I right?
Anyway, todays review is about one of the two toner waters I use from Lush, this one is called Eau Roma Water. I am afraid I am a little bit sad, but I love all the fun names of the Lush products and I do like to work out why they have been chosen, some are much easier than others. This one is a bit of a mystery of me if I am honest so if anyone knows please do drop me a comment and let me know! Roma is Rome but I can not see why you would have Rome water, however I did wonder if it was a play on words of aroma water? Because the product is described as an aromatherapy water. Who knows!
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Eau Roma Water is one of the range of Toner Water's available from Lush, it is marketed as a kind aromatherapy water to cherish your face. They say that this product is gentle enough to use everyday and that it will help to hydrate the skin without causing it to overreact.
The toner water is available in two different sized bottles, both of which are black plastic bottles with a small spray nozzle and clear plastic lid.
When I bought this product the shop assistant explained that it could be used as a toner to remove traces of cleaner from the face but also that I could be used as often as you liked during the day to refresh the face. Because the product contains both lavender and rose water it also has a calming effect on the skin and the user. She also informed me that this product could be used over make up, although I have not tried this.
This toner is suitable for all skin types, it is hydrating for dry skin, contains gentle and calming ingredients for sensitive skin and will help refresh the face and reduce oils on oily and combination skin. I have also found that this spray has been really good helping my spots calm.
HOW TO USE
This product can be used two very basic ways, the first is to spray the product directly onto a cotton pad and then apply to the skin, the second methods is to simply spray the product directly upon the skin and let it dry naturally, or wipe the remains from the skin with a cotton pad.
The bottle instructions remind us to make sure that we close our eyes very tightly before spraying this product onto our face.
Lavender Water, Rose Water, *Limonene, *Linalool, Perfume, Methylparaben
This product has not been tested on animals and is suitable for both vegan and vegetarian.

As with all Lush products you can pop into your local store and request a trial of this product before buying. I did not trial this one but I did my other toner water and the shop assistant sprayed a large amount of the product into a large black tub and soaked a good weeks worth of cotton pads into the product. I had never thought I would be able to trial a spray product, unless the had mini trial products so I was impressed with the imaginative method they had to allow me to try this and also the generous amount of product they gave me to trial.
I totally adore this product, I use it on a morning to refresh my face when I wake up, the scent is gorgeous and this product leaves my skin feeling really refreshed but leaves no residue what so ever. I have never been someone who tones everyday until I started using this product, I always found that they were very expensive and that I always had problems with them. My skin is combination, however it is also a little sensitive and prone to spots. I used to find that the toners were to harsh on my skin and I would end up with more spots or dry patches on my cheeks. I have not had any issues at all with this product. I have to say I was shocked at how cheep this product was when I first bought it, I have had the 100g bottle over 2 months now and I still have at least another 2 months worth of use in it.
I would recommend this product to anyone without a moments hesitation and would give it 5 stars out of 5.
Summary: Outstanding product, does what it says on the bottle and more.
