Ok now, i love a party and the tag line for this face mask was ' Brazened Honey is a detoxifying mask to use when you are thoroughly ashamed of what you have done to your skin'! I am defintaley was feeling like this when i bought brazened honey face mask. My skin looked tired and didnt have much colour and i felt it needed a boost, i had some spots appear from lack of sleep and few days of a poor diet and my skin felt just yuk! So i went in to my local Lush where the lovely girl there gave me a run down of the different masks avaliable for my skin type. In the end i chose branzened honey as it contains honey which helps to soothe the skin whilst the other ingredients which include sage, juniper, rosemary, organic lime juice, parsley, ginger, coriander and cardamon all help to boost the circulation with their exfoliating properties! As well as lots of other yummy ingredients and natural oils that are good for your skin!

The fist thing that stood out about this for me was the smell, its like opening a brand new jar of honey mixed with your favourite sweets and taking that first breath that makes your mouth water! I had to remind myself that it couldnt be eaten! In the shop all of the face masks are kept chilled and they do advise that you keep it refrigerated for best results. Because of the natural ingrdients it has a short shelf life of up to 3 weeks and can be kept out of the fridge for up to 72 hours, however i would suggest getting in the fridge as soon as possible for better results! And keep it hidden i learnt this from experience as it doesn't last long in my house!

So i purchased this little black screw top 75ml pot for £4.95 (which is worth every penny) and took it home and popped it straight in the fridge.

Later that day when the boyfriend had gone out, i had a chick flick and a nice hot bath and made sure my face was nice and clean and free from any traces of dirt or make up. I got out my little pot of brazened honey and dived straight in! You dont need to use a lot, and i still put it on nice and thick to make sure my whole face was covered. It has a very thick, yellow, grainy texture that is nice and cold from the fridge can shock a bit going on the face but i really enjoyed the colling effect it had. The grainy texture is form all the lovely ingredients! Once i appllied it all over my face making sure i kept it away from my eyes, i sat back and relaxed for 10 minutes. If you have long nails i wouod recommmend that your either wear gloves or use something to apply it to your face as it gets under your nails when you scrape it from the pot.

After a few minutes it starts to dry on your face and dry's a bit like a clay or mud mask would, so it stiffens on your face and you feel like its tightening up your skin which is lovely!! You can almost feel it working! I wouldnt recommend leaving it on for more tha 10 minutes as when it dry it can start to feel a little uncomfotable if it gets to dry.

I then headed to the bathroom where i ran some luke warm water and put a towel over my shoulders (this is also recommended as the removal can be quite messy) I gently wet my hands with warm water and dabbed over the mask on my face and in circular motions started using all those lovely ingrdients to exfoliate my face! The lovely honey is still so fragrant all the way through! After a couple of minutes of this i washed the remaining mask of my face and when it was all washed off i dabbed my face dry with a wet towel, this is recommended by Lush.

I instantly noticed a difference, my skiin looked brighter and felt soft and smooth and the spots looked so much calmer and the next day were almost gone!!! All the damage and dryness of the winter had gone and been replaced by a colourful soft and healthy looking skin all thanks to thatb little pot of honey heaven!

For 75ml pot which cost me 4.95 i got 3 applications (well 2 as my boyfreind stole one) and my face felt like i had had a facial. So for £1.65 per application to me that price is amazing!!! You only have to do this once a week to really notice a difference! Also if you clean out the pot and take 5 empty clean pots back to lush you get a free fask mask of your choice!! now you cant argue with that!!!!
