When I was given a pot of Skin's Shangri La from Lush by my boyfriend as a nice suprise, I was a bit dubious. I'm used to using scientifically tested proven, chemically analysed and heavily advertised moisturises such as L'Oreal products. Lush's natural ingredients seemed rather alien to me. The moisturiser comes in a relatively small 45g pot, however, this has lasted me several months. It has a fairly strong smell, although this is not detectable when it has been absorbed into the skin. I used this product on my face and hands, however due to its thick, oily nature, it gave me a few spots on my face. I would not recommend this product for facial use, however it did a wonderful job on my hands. I tend to get particularly dry hands, especially after long periods of time outdoors. This product made my hands feel incredibly soft, and was much better than other hand moisturisers I have used. At £25.50 a pot, this is one of lush's more expensive moisturisers. If you are just intending to use it occasionally on very dry skin, it is a worthwhile investment. however for daily use on the face and hands the cost could mount up quickly.
