Advantages: Smell, Soft hands
Disadvantages: Expensive
I love hand creams. I have so many hand creams, but I only use some of them. I use the Lush Smitten Hand Cream every night before I go to bed to make my hands nice and soft.
-About the Product-
Smitten is made by Lush, a very popular store that makes hand made products, and is against animal testing. They have a range of products, including bath bombs, shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, massage bars, body creams and lip balms. Lush products are generally quite expensive, but it's sometimes worth treating yourself to something nice! Smitten is a hand cream that is designed for using during the day to keep your hands soft. "One touch and you're smitten", it claims.
-Packaging-
The hand cream comes in a little black 100g tub, and to open it you have to unscrew the lid. Although once I take the lid off I can never seem to get it back on properly! I like having my hand cream in a tub because I can see exactly how much is in there and I can make sure I get it all out.
-Smell-
The smell of a hand cream is very important, and I'm definitely impressed with Smitten. It has a very strong almond smell, but I can smell some other nice things too, like coconut. The smell lingers for a while on your hands, which is quite pleasant.
-Application-
As with any cream I use, it has to be easily absorbed. Smitten certainly meets this criteria, as it doesn't take long to rub in, although my hands feel a little oily at first. You don't need to use much to properly moisturise your hands. I get dry patches between my fingers, and I only need to dip my fingertip into the cream to get enough to use on both hands.
-Results-
My hands feel lovely and soft whenever I use this cream, and they smell really nice too. At the moment I'm only using this cream at night because I'm trying to use all my other hand creams too, but it does have a nice relaxing smell. It is quite expensive at £5.50 for a 100g pot, but it does last a long time, and it is a high quality product.
Summary: Definitely recommend this for lovely soft hands.
