My skin loves you ultra bland
Member Name: roguerose
Advantages: skin softening, skin clearing, removes all make up!
Disadvantages: oil based so can scare some people
I cannot recommend ultrabland to people enough. Oil cleansers are AMAZING at balancing your skin and removing dirt and make up. I sometimes use straight almond or jojoba oil to remove my heavy eye make up and foundation (don't use olive oil it's just too heavy..), but when i'm feeling flush I use ultrabland. A pea sized amount is really all you need, it melts onto your hands then you massage it into your eyes, your face and neck. You may need more if you have a giant face. I think the main problem people have with ultrabland is that they're not using it correctly. This is not a soap cleanser, your skin will not feel tight afterwards. You need to use a flannel or cotton wool and hot.. HOT! water to remove the cleanser, it has to be hot to melt the oils and get all the grit out! I then follow up with a toner of choice (rose water is amazing) and my skin is singing! I remember thinking 'how the hell can an oil cleanser help my breakouts?' well jojoba is often used to treat acne. And if you dry your skin out too much it will just over compensate with oil and make MORE oil and spots! ahhh! So.. the key is all about balancing.. and treating your skin real nice :)
