Advantages: Moisturising and gentle on skin

Disadvantages: Not absorbed as well as could be.

I originally purchased this whilst on the hunt for a new moisturiser as I find it difficult to find moisturisers that sink into my skin easily and I have generally been happy with most of the Lush products I have used in the past.

***My Skin Profile***

I'm in my early twenties and my skin tends to be Normal/Combination and I suffer from quite frequent breakouts mostly around my chin and nose. I tend to have shiny/oily skin in my T-Zone too and I find that my skin has the tendancy to look a little dull from timer to time.

***First Purchase***

I always find a trip to Lush to be a pleasant shopping experience. The staff are always friendly and very helpful and the place has a nice atmosphere in general. I browsed the shop and decided to go for this particular moisturiser as it stated that it was especially good for troublesome, oily skin and that it helped with T-zone problems.

It comes in a little black tub and costs £15.25 for 45g. I consider this to be a little on the steep side but you have to bear in mind that Lush use natural, highest quality ingrediants.

***The Moisturiser Itself***

I found this moisturiser to have a bit of a strange smell. It's not unpleasant but there's something a bit funny about it, I just can't put my finger on what it reminds me of.

The ingrediants consist of shea butter, linseed gel, camellia, grapeseed, lavender and jojoba oils.

***Results***

The consistency is good, not too thick and spreads out easily over skin. As I have mentioned I do have the problem that a lot of moisturisers tend to just sit on my skin rather than be absorbed. This was sort of in the middle, mostly it sinks in fine but does leave a slight sticky residue which eventually leaves a bit of a powdery feel behind. I did try applying less but it still did the same thing.

I didn't suffer from any irritation whilst using this and it did moisturise my skin very well.

Summary: Does the job but I wouldn't use again due to not being completely absorbed.
