Montagne Jeunesse Aloe Vera Face Tonic

A friend bought me a couple of these face masks as a treat because she is lovely and I have been having a bit of a stressful time of late. I finally got round to using one a few days ago and I was really pleased with it.

--The face mask--

This face mask is really straight forward to use and compared to some other face masks I own this one is mess and fuss free. It isn't a cream but it is a cloth (with pre-cut holes for your eyes and nose) that you simply remove from the packing and place on your face and then relax. After five minutes or so (I left mine on for longer) you remove the mask and gently massage the excess tonic into your skin then splash your face with cool water and pat dry.

After using this my skin felt much better, it felt smooth and well hydrated. The mask itself was pleasant to use, when it went on it felt cool and smelt lovely. I used mine while I was relaxing in the bath and this really felt like a little luxury pampering. I have quite sensitive skin and I found that this didn't irritate or cause any negative reaction.

I don't this mask does anything spectacular, it just gives you the excuse to take that ten minutes out of the day to pamper yourself. Unlike some deep cleansing or moisture soak masks I doubt very much that this does anything long term for your skin other than a little bit of a pick-me up.

In my opinion the best feature of this mask is that it is in the form of a cloth rather than a paste. This makes it easy to use, but it means that I can easily enjoy using this while in the bath. After the time is up and you want to take it off there is no need to get out of the bath to wash your face, just remove and continue to enjoy the bubbles.

These are typically retailing in many stores and online in places such as Amazon for £1.49. I still have one of these left to use but I can imagine that I will purchase more in the future.

--Overall--

I am going to give four out of five stars, it was nice and easy to use and made my skin feel nice while I was enjoying being that bit pampered. I think this mask would get three out of two for the mask itself but it gets that extra point because I like how mess free and simple it is.
