=Montagne Jeunesse Amore Rose Face Mask= Montagne Jeunesse produce single use face masks, and these retail between £1,00 and £1.50, but can be found on offers such as 3 4 2 or as I try to buy mine from Home Bargains at 3 masks for £2.00 Each mask is designed for different skin types, and thee are two bases to the masks, the clay finish, which dries hard, or the gel version which dries like a rubber finish on the face. =Deeper Cleanse= This mask is designed as a deeper cleanse mask and is good if you have an oily T zone. =The Packet= The mask comes in a single serve packet, on the front is a picture of a ladies face wearing the mask, and covering her eyes is a symbol of the flavour of the mask. On the reverse are the to use instructions, care information and contact details for the company. =Floral= As soon as I opened the mask, I could smell roses immediately, a sweet smell, the mask also has shea butter and cocoa butter in it, which gives it a lovely creamy consistency to it. =Applying the Mask= This mask was a clay version, and I duly applied, avoiding the eye area and the hair line, the smell was beautiful and the feel, although I have used plenty of the clay masks before, this had a soft feel to it, I guessed could have been due to the butters in it. =Longer to dry= Normally within 20 minutes the mask is fully dry and ready to remove at the 20 point, I found this one took about 25 minutes to dry, but I wasn't complaining it smelt lovely, my skin was already feeling the benefit of it, and I could have wore it all night, (bar the setting effect!). =30 Minutes= By the time I got round to taking the mask off it was about 30 minutes, but the mask washed off easy, I used warm water, then patted my face dry. =My Skin= my skin felt really refreshed and soft, I didn't even bother to put any moisturing cream on that evening, as the cream in the mask I felt had done my skin a nice treat, even during the rest of the evening, I could still smell roses. . =One of my favourites= This is gone down of one of my favourites, and next time I buy some masks, it will be 3 of these rather than a mix and match.
This is another Montagne Jeunesse face mask I got recently in a bargain bundle at a discount store. I have used a few of these now and am starting to get a sense of which ones offer better results. This is the first floral fragranced mask I've used so I was intrigued to see how it lived up to the the others. The mask is designed to offer a deeper cleanse and it meant to specifically target an oily t-zone. I have to say I have fairly normal skin which is neither oily or dry but I do love a high impact face mask so I was excited to use this one. The mask comes in a plastic sachet which has branding on one side and instructions on the other. The instructions are easy to follow, first starting with cleansing them application details. I tend to wash my face with warm water before applying a mask and then smooth the contents of the sachet around my face, avoiding my eyes or sensitive areas of skin. This mask has a lovely floral smell to it which is very pleasant when applied. The mask also has shea and cocoa butters in it which gives it the rich creamy consistency it has. Although the mask is intensive it does also offer good hydration of your skin and feels nice when applied. It take roughly around 20-25 minutes to dry fully all over and it does become quite stiff once hardened which personally I really like. This makes it feel like it is really working and drawing any excess oil or dirt out of your skin. Once washed off my skin is left feeling soft and looking visibly clearer. I definitely feel like I've used an intensive mask once this comes off and it leaves me with a clear looking complexion. Overall, this is one of the better masks I've used from this range and I'd go so far as to say I'd consider paying full price for it.
WHAT IS IT? A rose fragranced face mask from Montagne Jeunesse. THE PACKAGING This face mask comes in a sachet that is for single use but if you are careful to apply it you can make each sachet last for 2 uses. I do not like the Montagne Jeunesse face masks for the womans face with things over their eyes but this one is more pleasing because it is pretty and pink with a flower meadow design that takes away from the face. I still do not like the imagery but I like the single use sachets because I can vary my face masks more easy than if I am using a large pot or tube. HOW DO YOU USE IT? When you have washed your face and rinsed all of the soap off you leave your skin damp and apply a layer of the face mask. It is thick but very smooth so it is easy to apply to the skin, that is how you can use the same sachet two times because you can make it go far as you apply. WHAT I THINK I like the rose smell but it is very strong and it made me feel like I was going to get a headache. I could not stand to wear the mask for more than 15 minutes because of the smell and that is unusual because I usually keep a Montagne Jeunesse face mask on for 30 minutes. It is too highly perfumed. The face mask has made my skin very smooth and it has more brightness and energy. My skin does feel soft after I have used the face mask but I do not think the feeling lasts for very long, I like how refreshed and healthy my skin looks and use the rose face mask in the morning so that I can skip using foundation and wear only light and natural make up. It does not moisturise my skin but it makes it look and feel healthy in other ways I think, it is a face mask that makes my skin glow and that is pleasing but the glow does not last for the following day and I think the fragrance is too strong to use it every day like I think you would have to to keep up the effects. It is very easy to rinse off and does not stick to my skin at all. ANYTHING ELSE A sachet of Amore Rose face mask costs £1.20 and I think it is worth that cost. 4 Dooyoo Stars.
I have used so many of the Montagne Jeunesse face masks that I've lost count. One of the nicer deeper cleansing ones in this range is their Amore Rose Masque which is suitable for those with a problem T-zone (that's me!) and the packets states it's also suitable for those with 'normal' skin. It's a little bit more 'intensive' in terms of deep cleaning, compared to the others and I always find that this one tingles a lot as it's drying on my face during the fifteen minute wait period. I always use these masks at weekends when I am in the bath, mainly because I am a bit of a messy person when it comes to applying them and then as I am in the bath anyway, I simply rinse off my face with the water running from the mixer tap. This mask has a gorgeous smell, which I can detect just s soon as I snip open the top of the packet. There is a definite smell of light fresh roses. The mask also contains some lovely moisturisers such as Shea butter and cocoa butter. It's a soothing mask which I feel really offers a very deep cleansing experience but it moisturises and hydrates my skin and gives it a bit of a glow afterwards as it really perks up the circulation to the face and neck area. The mask itself is quite thick in consistency and perhaps one of the thickest ones in this range I have used so far. The colour is nice too in that it's a very light coloured pale pink and looks like a weak strawberry flavoured yogurt. As it's a thick mask, it means that it's not so runny and so I am less likely to spill it all over the place as I am trying to apply it to my face and neck. It does take the full fifteen minutes to dry and those areas where I have applied it a little too thickly take the longest to dry and are sometimes still quite wet even after the fifteen minutes are up. Washing off the mask afterwards is a simple and easy process. It isn't one of those peel off masks, this one simply washes away with warm clean water. Afterwards I pat my face dry very gently and after about another fifteen minutes or so I apply a light moisturiser such as Olay Beauty Fluid. My skin definitely looks and feels smoother and more hydrated after I have used this mask and there is no doubt at all that it really does help my oily T-zone, without stripping my skin of its natural oils. It's one of the nicest masks I have sued and certainly one of the nicest smelling ones. It's my little weekend treat to myself. Highly recommended.
I've seen the Montagne Jeunesse range of products, with their brightly coloured sachets, in several stores before and have read many positive reviews. I saw a deal on Living Social for a basket of Montagne Jeunesse goodies at a reduced price. It sounded like a bargain, so I purchased one and got an exciting mix of stuff. Among the products were a number of face masks, including this Amore Rose Masque. The sachet has a picture of a rose-covered meadow with pink roses and a woman wearing a pink face mask with roses over her eyes. The product is described as being suitable for normal, oily and T-zone skin. It is 'anti-stress' and is described as an 'Ultra Deep Cleansing Masque'. The product contains damask rose and marula oil which calm and cleanse deeply, hydrating and smoothing the skin. The masque also contains shea and cocoa butters to moisturise and leave skin soft. It is recommended that you use it weekly. Animal lovers will be pleased to know that the mask has been approved by the Vegetarian Society and bears the BUAV bunny logo to show that it has not been tested on animals. The packaging seems to have been redesigned slightly compared to other Montagne Jeunesse masques I have used, as the instructions are displayed in pictorial form. You are directed to cleanse skin, apply the masque, relax for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off. I followed these instructions and was able to get three uses out of the sachet over a three-week period. To use, I cleansed my face as instructed and squeezed out the masque, which was pale pink, fairly thick and smelled strongly of roses. I applied it to my face and waited around 15 minutes for it to dry. I could definitely feel the masque on my face: it wasn't quite irritating my skin, but almost, and I worried that I might have to wash it off, but in fact I didn't and my skin looked none the worse for it. Perhaps the masque is more strongly scented than others in the range: it certainly smells like it! I do like the smell though, it is very pleasant and not at all artificial. After washing off the masque, I found that my skin felt thoroughly cleansed and brighter than usual. It looked more even-toned and felt very fresh. After using the mask three weeks in a row my skin looked and felt better. I really like this masque and would buy it again. I do recommend it, but would advise caution to those with sensitive skin. Montagne Jeunesse products are made in the UK and these face masks can be bought from places like Boots, Superdrug, Savers and Amazon (where you can currently buy 6 sachets for a fiver). Normally they are priced at £1 or less which makes them good value for money, particularly when each sachet can normally be used at least twice. You can find out more at www.montagnejeunesse.com.
I love the smell of rose and when I saw this face mask I could not resist. I picked it up from my local beauty store for 99p. I also noticed in Asda recently that they do larger versions of the mask in a plastic container for £3, along with a few other types such as the self heating cinnamon and ginger one. The mask comes in a sachet that is easily opened by using scissors to chop off the top. The sachet has a picture of a women with the face mask on and two giant roses on her eyes. The face mask contains damask rose petals and rose geranium which aim to relax your mind and leave your skin nourished, Marula Oil which will hydrate and smooth your skin, Mediterranean clay that will remove toxins and also hydrate tired skin and Shea Butter that restores your skins elasticity, seals in moisture and helps with dryness. It is recommend that you use the face mask on a weekly basis and that it is suitable for combination and dry skin. The sachet also states that the natural ingredients in the face mask may vary in colour, is best kept out of reach of children, to avoid your eyes, to test for irritancy before use ( id did not do this) and that it is for external use only. The product is thick and creamy in texture and light pink in colour. To use the mask, I cut the top off and apply to my cleansed face and neck, I can get 2 applications out of each sachet. I then relax in the bath or lie on the bed for 15 minutes. I find that if used in the bath the product does not dry due to the steam. I rinse off and dry my face then apply my moisturizer. As soon as you open the sachet you are greeted with a strong scent of rose that is delicately floral, it glides onto my face easily and the scent helps me to relax, the scent stays around for a long time even after I have rinsed it away, which is nice. I like to let the mask dry, as I feel this draws out more impurities from my skin. After I used the mask for the first time, I did get a couple of blemishes appear on my chin, though I have now used this mask about 6 times and this no longer happens. My skin is always left feeling soft and hydrated and also nourished after using it. I have never experienced any skin irritation, my skin is combination and can be quite sensitive. Overall I would recommend this face mask to others, as it is well priced, smells great and has improved skin.
I was happy to discover that dooyoo accepted my product suggestion so I will be reviewing Montagne jeunesse Amor Rose ultra deep cleansing masque. I spotted this face mask for sale in superdrug and have tried a few of their face masks before and wanted to pamper myself so I bought the Amor Rose face mask for £1.00 which is a bargain in my opinion. As I said I bought it from superdrug but it can be bought from any good chemist or supermarket for around the same price, the montagne jeunesse website is fantastic and has a huge range of skin care products and giftsets and offer free postage on a £7.00 order. The face mask comes in a sachet that I needed scissors to open, it has a picture of a woman with the face mask on and roses on her eyes. There is lots of product information and instructions on how to use the face mask on the back of the sachet. The face mask comes in a 17g sachet and I found it was enough to last me two applications as it was quite a generous sachet. It was very straight forward to use, I went for a long soak in my bath tub with lots of bubbles and candles lit (this is my optional choice but its my way to unwind after a hard days work). The sachet instructs you to cleanse before you use the mask, I just used my foam cleansing wash and rinsed it off. I was then instructed to apply the face mask avoiding the eye areas and then waited 15 to 20 mins before washing the face mask off with warm water and drying my face. It has a thick but easy to spread consistency and was a very slight pink shade, it felt like a like clay and very cold when I first applied it to my face but it soon warmed to my skin temperature and felt very soothing on my skin. The mask starts to dry and the mask becomes tight on your face and can barely move a muscle let alone crack a smile with the mask on (now I know what botox feels like). I could feel the ingredients working into my skin and had a slight tingling feeling which felt quit pleasant, the aroma from the face mask was amazing it was very relaxing smelling the sweet rose smell and felt like I was having a aromatherapy facial without the expensive price tag. I have quite sensitive skin and had no bad reaction to the face mask at all it has lots of skin friendly ingredients in the mask such as shea butter and cocco butter that help moisturise skin it also has marula oil which helps to deep cleanse the skin. My skin was glowing and looked very fresh after using the mask and felt hydrated and moisturised. It felt soft and very clean, I had enough left for a second application a few days later which I was pleased about as I love the face mask. I will be buying this face mask again as I had excellent results with it and it did not cost a fortune compared to some face mask. The aroma was divine and I had many benefits from using the product.
