I'd recently tried the Montagne Jennesse Chocolate face masque and quite liked it so was tempted to try some other masques by this company. I see that there are mnay different products by this company listed on dooyoo, some with some great reviews but my local Boots only had the Chocolate one I'd already tried and this Sauna Masque, so I guess that was decision made!

As with the other masque this came in 15ml foil sachet, enough for one generous application and cost just 99p. The packaging is in a similar vain to the others and I like the quirky brightly coloured busy packaging, it stands out on the shelves. This one has a picture of a woman (well I assume so you can't tell under that masque) with bright pink goo over her face and flowers on her eyes. I think I'll stop short of the flowers on the yes, but it made the product look good.

The mask contains red clay and plant extracts which is supposed to draw impurities out of the skin. the mask is also self heating which I thought sounded good as it was a cold evening.

Hopping in the bath I delighted to find that this foil sachet was a lot easier to tear open with wet hands that most, there's a little perforated tab to pull out rather than resorting to teeth or getting out of bath to find a pair of scissors. One star already for that, is a bug bear of mine with those sort of products.

As I squeezed the product of the the sachet, it wasn't quite the colour on the packet more a sort of salmon pink, and was quite thin and sticky. A bit like sort of halfway between the peel off mask and mud mask consistency. I started smoothing it on my face and was amazed at how quickly it heated up. It's gorgeous feeling, a product that actually feels like it working!

I had more than enough to cover my face and lay back to relax for five minutes beofre I needed to wash it off. I was a little disappointed to find that the warm feeling didn't last and for the last few minutes it was cold. It washed off easily and I didn't find any traces in my hair afterwards which was good. Some masks get everywhere.

I was fairly impressed with the results. I've been using these sort of products long enough now to know not to expect any miracle transformations, but my skin was non greasy, smooth and skin and did not feel tight as masks sometimes make it feel.

Overall, it's ok. Not bad for the price and gave a relatively good result I just which the relaxing warming part could have lasted longer. Plus, I still think these masques make great inexpensive presents.
