Very Berry face pack

We like to have "pamper nights" in our house and so Little Miss has quite an extensive collection of face masks and the like. This s the one we used most recently.

THE PROMISES...

This promises to be full of antioxidants including blueberries and cranberries. The face mask also contains Peach Kernel Oil to nourish and Aloe to refresh and cleanse skin.

With all of these ingredients, it will apparently leave skin feeling moisturised and cleansed; I like the idea of this as we were specifically after a moisturising face masque.

PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...

The face mask comes in a plastic packet with a picture of a face covered in fruits on the front not a picture which appeals to me) and all of the information and instructions on the back. It has one of those apparently peel off corners, with a small cut out part which lulls me into a false sense of security and actually think I am actually going to manage to open this with only my fingers. Not true. The plastic of the packet is really thick and for us, we do need scissors to get the corner of the packet opened.

Once a corner of the packet is opened then the product can be squeezed out. Given that skin has to cleansed before applying the face mask a good tip is to make sure that hands are dry because if they are wet and you try to squeeze out the product, the packet just slips all over the place. Anyway, when the product is squeezed out, the first thing I notice is the fruity smell- very nice. One thing I'm not so keen on is the very pink colour- when applied to my skin, it looks as though I have some skin disorder. However, it's all to do with taste and Little Miss loves the colour.

The product itself feels quite creamy but not overly thick and so it does apply easily and smoothly to damp skin.

USING IT...

The product should be applied to clean skin and then left for 15 minutes before rinsing off completely. We find that one packet of the stuff is more than enough for the two of us, and that's with us both applying a good layer of the stuff and not skimping at all.

It goes onto the skin nicely but not prettily! When it is left on the skin for the 15 minutes, I find it does feel as though it is tightening up a little bit but not so that it is uncomfortable. Certainly when I come to rinse it off, its not dried out and all and because its still a cream it rinses off easily.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...

The product is widely available online and at chemists and costs around the £1 mark.

VERDICT...

I like this face masque. It' easy to use, and after use makes my skin feel nicely clean and moisturised. Great smell, nice and creamy and cheap.

I couldn't ask for more- recommended.
