“ Brand: Montagne Jeunesse / Type: Face Mask „
~~SO, WHAT IS IT?~~
This is a rinse off face mask designed for sensitive skin. It is a two part skin treatment. It comes in a foil sachet with two compartments - one for the mask (15ml) and one for the after-mask serum(3ml). The sachet is white with a comical picture of a woman with the mask on her skin and a flower over each eye. On the back are the instructions, an ingredients list, and details of Montagne Jeunesse.
In the first part of the treatment, you evenly cover your face (avoiding the delicate eye areas of course) with the mask and leave on for ten minutes. After this, you rinse off the product with warm water and apply a layer of the serum and allow it to sink in.
~~DOES IT WORK?~~
The mask was easy to apply evenly and a small amount spread quite far making it economical. There was more than enough to cover my whole face - it would be nice to share the mask with a friend to make it go further. It was a natural pale green in colour.
The smell was inoffensive but nothing special, I enjoy products that smell nice so this was disappointing. There was no tingle or burning on application (a tell-tale sign of irritation) which was reassuring.
It rinsed of with warm water fairly easily without any staining and my skin felt quite smooth afterwards. There was less redness which I am prone too.
The serum smoothed on easily too, however, after sinking in, it left my skin a bit thirsty so an extra moisturiser was needed - this did not really bother me as the results from the mask were excellent. The end results were that my face looked fresh and dewy.
~~WHERE CAN YOU BUY IT?~~
They are available in most supermarkets and chemists. I have personally bought them in Morrisons, Superdrug, Tesco and independant pharmacies. They are usually priced at £0.99 each.
This Montagne Jeunesse face mask is a 2 step treatment specially formulated for sensitive skin and can be purchased at Boots, Superdrug or any other shops that might supply them and their online shop for only 99p.
The face mask comes in a sachet, which makes it easy to carry around in your bag whilst travelling and it will also give you the right amount of product. (I can usually get 2 to 3 uses out of mine as I find that there is so much product and I don't need an insanely thick layer to get the desired results, I just seal mine in an air tight bag).
On the front of the sachet, you will see a picture of a lady wearing the mask with leaves and flowers over her eyes. All MJ face masks have this picture so you're sure to notice it in the shops as it looks a lot more vibrant than most of the other products. The sachet also has quite a strange shape, I can't figure out what it is but it's definitely eye-catching!
The 2 steps are marked on the sachet and there are marks where you can tear the sachet open from. The first step contains a thick white face mask that feels very smooth and moisturising on the skin and has a lovely, gentle fragrance. The scent of this mask is a lot softer than their other ones, which often smell fruity and more noticeable.
I then leave the mask on for 15 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water. I notice that my skin does feel smoother and softer, which is lovely, and since this face mask is made for sensitive skin, it did not irritate one bit!
The second stage is this other cream you apply to the face, it helps the skin to feel even softer and after using both, my skin feels lovely and glowing, it gives me a pretty and healthy look.
My sister, who has even more sensetive skin than me loves this mask and she's very picky as other masks have broken her out or been too harsh on her skin.
I'm very pleased with this face mask and you can't go wrong for only 99p, I suggest you give it a go... There's not much to lose but a lovely soft face to gain.
