      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Look out for this product as it's really good!

This is a review of a facial cleanser by Myreen Young, who claims to make 'skincare with intelligence'. I should add at this point that I won this product from a women's magazine and was pleased to try out a new product on the market.

I immediately visited the Myreen Young website to read up on the product range. This bottle is 150ml and costs £9.50 (with free postage with orders over £30). There are two cleansers in her range and the one I received is 'nourishing cleansing lotion' with white tea and evening primrose oil.

For me the immediate appeal was with the packaging. A pump dispenser gives a pea sized amount to work with and 2-3 pumps did an entire face when removing the day's makeup. It was effective and did work well on mascara removal which is always a good test in my opinion of how good a cleanser is.

You can use the product with cotton wool or with water, massaging in and wiping or rinsing off. I used it with cotton wool every time.

The actual product is white and a normal medium consistency. It didn't sting when used on the eye area and left my skin feeling pleasant with moisturising optional as the next step (I did win two moisturisers in the range too but passed them on to a friend as they had a high sun factor in them and I find this makes my eyes sting in most products).

The range is packaged in a uniform manner with different coloured labels identifying the different products in the range.

The website lists the following benefits to using this product:

A luxurious creamy cleanser that sweeps away makeup and even eye makeup, giving soft beautiful skin

      BENEFITS
      * Boosts the moisture content of the skin with evening primrose oil
      * White tea is a powerful antioxidant
      * Fights free radials that cause fine lines and wrinkles

I would agree this is a good product and it felt luxurious. I think for the size of the product the price is reasonable and I would like to see it in the shops as well as on the website.

Would I repurchase? I liked a lot of things about this product and used it religiously day and night for a couple of months (until it ran out!) I liked the pump dispenser and will probably repurchase in the future.

I liked the fragrance of this product and its ingredients suited my skin. I have used cheaper cleansers in the past and they were not as effective as this.

Myreen Young is pictured on the side of the bottle, explaining how she started her skincare range in 2007. Her 27 years of experience have gone into developing the product and she says it's all about the ingredients.

      Final word
I am glad I got the chance to try this as I would have never found it on my own. It's a real find and I will use it again in the future (my original tube has now run out!).

      Thanks for reading.
