      A good non-greasy natural cream

I have been using Neal's Yard Remedies face creams product now for about 5 years, usually I used the almond moistouriser on my face and I find it really suits my skin, but last time when I went to buy it I couldn't find it and the customer assistant recommend the Yarrow, Comfrey and Aloe Vera instead.

      The Product
The cream has a refreshing and clean smell, I'm not sure what yarrow and comfrey would smell like, and I wouldn't say it smells like aloe vera however it does have a nice subtle natural kind of smell. When I put it on it absorbs instantly leaving a slight cold sensation on my face which lasts a minute or so. The cream is quite thick and a creamy white colour.  I like the fact that ingredients are sourced organically and use as many natural products as possible rather than synthetic ingredients.

      The Tub
The tub is made of dark brown glass with a black plastic lid, which is very sturdy and easy to get into.  I like that you can get the cream out with your finger and it means wastage of the last smidgins of cream is minimalised.

      Usage
I find one tub lasts a long time, around a year as I don't need to use that much.  I usually use it in the morning before I put my makeup on, and only in the evening if my skin is feeling very dry.  I have combination skin, which can be greasy but with dry spots so it's important I have a non greasy cream, which this is.  I also find it works well on my dry spots, smoothing them almost instantly. It doesn't make my skin at all greasy, absorbs quickly and makes my face smooth before putting my make up on.

      Price and Purchase
One tub is about £15 for 50g, but a little goes s long way.  I've had this jar about 6 weeks and my guess is it will last around a year. I got this jar from the Neal's Yard shop in Marylebone but there is also a small selection of Neals Yard products in some and John Lewis stores.  If you do see a Neale's Yard shop it's worth taking a look inside, they are set out very traditionally and they have samples for almost all products which you can try.
