      a great day moisturiser with added tanning

      ==Neutrogena Pure Glow Summer Moisturiser==

      As some of you may know, I am always in Poundland trying to hunt out any bargains to be had. A lot of the time I come away with things that I probably didn't need and will turn out to be useless and a waste of money. Other times however I come away with a real bargain of an item that I see for a lot higher price in other shops. This Neurtrogena cream is a product that falls in to the latter category.

      =Price and Availability==

      So I obviously only paid a mere £1 for this 50 ml bottle of face cream which is a really good price for any cream and although it is not something I have seen often in Poundland or any other shops it can be found online but ranging any where up to the RRP of the bottle which is £5.99p so I feel I got quite a good deal paying only a fraction of this price.

      ==Look and Design==

      The bottle comes housed within a cardboard box and this gives you all the necessary information that you would need to make an informed decision before buying the product. The colourings are a shimmery yellow shade and this carries through to the plastic bottle inside. There is a screw cap lid which is easy to remove but not so easy to replace when hands are a little greasy from using the product. The general look of the bottle is not really one that costs a pound but it is also not one that looks overall expensive either.

      ==General Use==

      The product is designed as a gradual tanning moisturiser which will work with your own skin tones to build up a natural looking colour on the skin. This sounded really good when I read this on the box and is what persuaded me to pop it into my basket. As well as building a natural looking tan the product is dermatologically tested and is suitable for people with normal to combination skin texture. It also states that there are essential vitamins contained within the product to help boost your skin for a healthier look and better feeling of the facial skin.

      The cream inside the bottle is a pure white colour and is a fairly thin cream so perfect for day time wear. It didn't' have an overly strong smell like old self tanning products did but there was a slight whiff to it which I can't say was either unappealing or especially appealing either.

      I found the cream slid over my face skin with ease and the light texture of the cream felt both cooling and soothing on my skin. The cream was fast to be absorbed and left no residue or sticky feeling on my skin. Literally once it had been applied it took around 5 minutes to have fully disappeared into the skin and leave me feeling hydrated and very nice so as a general day moisturiser this product comes up tops.

      As far as the tanning aspect of the cream goes I have to say that it is very mild and it did take a good few days to actually make any real noticeable difference in the colour of my skin. However this wasn't a bad thing and when the tan did start to seem noticeable it was a very natural one and did seem to be the right tone for my skin.

      ==Overall opinion==

      I have to say that I wasn't expecting a lot from this product seeing as it was only £1 and my usual St Tropez Everyday tanning moisturiser sets me back at least £15 for a small bottle I wasn't thinking this would come anywhere close to how much I love that. But again I was surprised with the fact that it did make me think that I could top up the tanning aspect of my moisturiser with a far cheaper option than the St Tropez by buying this product. Okay so i'm not going to be tanned instantly as I find I am with the St Tropez but after a few days of application this colour does come through and come through very well indeed.

      Not only is the tanning good but the feeling of my skin whilst using it and after using it is very good also. The cream is light and fast in absorbing into the skin and this is ideal when in a rush in the morning as I can't stand creams that take forever to soak in and then go and leave the skin tacky feeling. This doesn't, and all for a mere £1 coin!

      All in all I must say that I am really happy that I chose to pick up this product in Poundland. It is one of the best purchases I have made from there and if I see if again I will certainly be picking up a couple to keep in my drawer for when I run out of the other creams I use. I think it is obvious that I rate this cream highly and for that reason a top score of 5 out of 5 stars is clearly what I will be awarding and I would highly recommend it to everyone!

      I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.

      Many thanks for taking the time to read
