Advantages: works really well, can be used on any part of the body

Disadvantages: dip pot encourages bacteria growth, can be expensive

My bag literally contains a whole range of goodies, I'm one of these people who carries around everything I may possibly need; lip balm, hair brush, plasters, nail polish remover pads, anti-bacterial wipes and so on, I actually have a CPR mask for the kiss of life (well you never know, I am a nurse after all!) and one little addition that has muzzled it's way in is the Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream. Sometimes on my way home from a heavy shift, I take my make up off on the train and apply my moisturiser just so I can brush my teeth and jump straight into bed. Or I might use it for my tired hands or even on my neck if I've been wearing a scarf for a long length of time. I can give you a thousand excuses as to why I would carry this little gem around with me!

Price:
I bought this for around £1 in asda for a little travel size tub or £4.28 for 200ml in Boots (there are definitely cheaper prices elsewhere, I just always use Boots as an example because nearly everyone has a Boots near them!)

Impression:
As this is a travel size, it fits right into the palm of my hand and it's so conveniently shaped and sized that it just slots into my pocket as if it should've been there all along. The colouring really gives off the impression of the soothing action intended and I love that the colours are neutral so my boyfriend doesn't feel too feminine when he has to use some too! It comes in an almost flat little tub and I've said this before in previous reviews; I hate the dip pot stuff. It encourages transference of bacteria especially if you need to use it when you're out and about so I really suggest using nice clean fingers before use. The smell is very clean and fresh yet doesn't linger on your skin which is nice and just leaves a nice freshness that really has an impact on how I feel the product is working. The consistency is thick yet not too thick, it's suitable to use on my face as well as my feet and elbows and I feel that it's a multi-purpose cream because you can use it on any part of your body that needs a little extra bit of moisture.

Results:
My skin feels silky smooth and this product definitely gives me that little pick me up when I need it. I have moisturisers that I use on a daily basis but I use Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream when I need to when I'm out and about and it doesn't counteract my usual moisturisers and clog my pores. As it's just a small pot it's suitable for carrying around but I can imagine wouldn't last very long if you're using it all the time, but the small pot is convenient for me as I use it on occasion but it's nice to know it's there!

I would recommend this product as it's very classically Nivea, looking after and protecting your skin whilst moisturising and freshening. I love Nivea products because they sink in very easily and afterwards I feel like I'm not wearing anything which I feel like I get from this product and also what I feel is very important. It's very reliable and when I've had a hard day it's nice to know that I have this little treat in my bag to pick me up.

Summary: an all round great product.
