      Very good value for money.

I bought this cream from Boots for £3.25, which is quite good for 50ml of a high quality product.

      -About the Product-
It claims to "visibly reduce fine lines, firm the skin and refine skin texture for younger looking skin". Well, I don't quite need to make my skin look younger, so I can't really evaluate that part! It's suitable for all skin types, and has SPF 8, which is good because it's recommended that you use a moisturiser of at least SPF 6 I think.

I really like this products packaging. The bottle is plain white with a clear lid that has a silver rim. To get the cream out, it has a little pump dispenser, which I find is the best type because it's quick for applying in the morning. However you cannot unscrew the pump, so you won't be able to get out the last few drops.

This cream is really easy to apply, you don't need much and it absorbs very well. Also, it doesn't need to be re-applied throughout the day because it lasts so long. I find that it moisturises my skin just right. It prevents dry patches but it doesn't make it too oily.

Like I said, I don't use it to make my skin look younger, but it does make my skin really soft. I use it every morning, and it really improves how my skin feels.

I'd definitely recommend this because it's one of the best creams I've used.

(I've also put this review on Ciao.)

Bit pricey but it does last well.

Having done a review on the night variety of this cream a while ago I thought I would tell you all what I think of the day cream. There are quite a few things in this review that are the same as the night time one so please forgive me if you have already read that one. For those of you that haven't, I hope you enjoy my account. I received 6 sample sachets of each set.

Nivea has been on the go for a long time now - well since 1911 actually - when Eucerit was first discovered and used to develop a skin cream called Nivea which derives from the Latin "nivius" which means snow-white. Awww.

Through the years it has continued to be popular with not only the ladies, but with men too as they expanded to include the rougher sex into the equation, trying to make their skin soft too. Well let's face it girls, we all love a bit of smooth rubbing up against us from time to time. Any men out there, please take note of this.

        ***The Visage Range***

There are many different products throughout the Visage range including Cleansing, Moisturising, Care for Young Skin and the Anti-Aging products which this Beauty Boost is part of.

Now you may think that Anti-aging products would be for the older woman - you know maybe aged 40 or over - but you would be wrong as this selection is aimed at women between the ages of 24 and 40. As I'm 35, I think I should have started using this a while ago but I guess as I'm still in the age bracket I can give it a go. As well as the day cream there is also a night cream to use as part of the Beauty Boost routine. For slightly older women aged 35 - 45 there is also a product called Age Reversal which includes Vitamin C to help rejuvenate aging skin.

For women aged 40 - 55 there is an anti-wrinkle range of cleansing milk, eye cream, day cream and night cream. I just wish they would find a nicer way of describing them so we don't feel so old.

***So which product do you use?***

Well there is a fantastic website at www.nivea.co.uk where you get advice from the consultant within the Nivea Visage range. After being asked 10 simple questions about age, skin type, puffiness of eyes etc. you will be given some tips to improve any problems you have such as dryness or dark circles and be shown which products are ideal for your skin care regime. Try to be honest when answering even though it may pain you to admit you have a few lines here and there where you wish you didn't.

When I did this questionnaire I found that my skin was ideal for the day and night creams so I decided to send off for some samples and give them a try.

        ***Using the cream***

I have very sensitive skin and find that many creams and potions will bring me out in a rash or provoke a breakout of eczema. I cleanse and tone everyday and this moisturiser should be applied after this routine.

On opening the sachet, which contained 2mls of product, I was met with a lovely clean scent. There are no heavy fragrances, just a nice moisturising smell. I always take this as a good sign as perfumed varieties can play havoc with my skin.

I soon find that the cream is of a runny consistency but not too watery. It could be easy to let it drip off your finger though so please be careful when applying. As with all moisturisers I apply a dot to my forehead, nose, each cheek and my chin and then massage in upward, circular movements, as stated on the back of the packet. I find that this cream doesn't take much rubbing in at all and my skin absorbs it really easily.

There is no instant tightening feeling and the lines don't magically disappear - that would be too much to hope for. There is however, an instant feeling of rehydration on my dry skin and immediately it feels softer and smoother. As the day wears on this feeling does fade a little bit as my skin starts to dry out again but of course I'm then ready to put on the night cream to work it's magic whilst I sleep.

        ***Three Weeks On***

There are still lines there but my skin feels altogether softer and silkier than before and most of the dry patches have cleared up. The best thing was that there were that it didn't cause me any irritations and that is always the biggest test for me.

        ***So Did I Buy It***

The answer is simply a yes and I've been using both the day and night cream for a couple of months now with no ill effects. It is expensive but it does last for ages as you don't need to use very much at a time. It really does go a long way.

        ***Price and Availability***

You can get this product in all the usual beauty stores as well as the supermarkets such as Boots, Superdrug, Tesco etc. Boots sell this one for £13.75 for 50mls so it's not the cheapest out there but then again you don't really need a lot as it spreads in so well. The 2ml sachets lasted me 4 days each.
