Advantages: Very light, smells lovely, makes skin really soft
Disadvantages: Screw top lid rather than flip top
***If you like Nivea Visage products they're on 2 for £4.00 right now in Boots! I couldn't believe it! I went in for moisturiser which is normally £3.99 and got 2 for just a penny more. STOCK UP WHILE YOU CAN!!***
I love Nivea products, mainly for the smell of them, which transports me right back to my childhood. I use their deoderants, moisturiser, facewipes, suncream, shower gel...you name it I've probably tried it and, more likely than not, still use it!
The Nivea Visage Daily Moisturiser comes in a small tube that, iin turn, comes in a small box (completely unnecessary packaging in my opinion) and has a screw cap on which it can stand.
The cream itself is thick and creamy and smells divine! The first time I tried it I used as much as I would of any other moisturiser but I quickly found out that I only need to use a very small amount of this one. Even the tiniest amount of this is plenty for me and covers my face adequately.
I don't tend to have many problems with my skin (touch wood) so I use this mainly after washing my face with face scrub as this tends to leave my skin feeling a bit dried out. After using this cream, though, my skin feels soft, smooth and replenished and it is absorbed into my skin amazingly quickly, meaning I can apply my makeup straight away and don't have to wait for ages (which is great for me as the longer I can spend in bed on a morning the better!).
The only slight niggle I have with this product is that the lid is a screw top rather than a flip top. Personally, if it's dispensing a cream into your hands or onto your fingers I prefer it to be a fliptop so you don't have to worry about screwing the lid back on whilst your hands are full of cream or covered in cream. I also, invariably, end up dropping the lid and scrabbling around under my bed for it! This definitely isn't a big enough negative for me to stop buying this lovely little cream though.
If, like me, you just want a light moisturiser to use on a daily basis without your skin ending up feeling really greasy, this is perfect...and did I mention how good it smells?!
Summary: A great, light moisturiser, perfect for every day use.
