This is very nice cream from Nivea, great for using once you are going to bed, has a great consistency, The cream is great and absorbs into the skin, your face feels refreshed and smooth when you wake up, this is a great product for all types of skin and is very effective, I have been using this product for 1 week now and it is one of the best I've ever had. (I brought this from boots, they have a sale £3!)
I like to use night creams, which are specifically designed to work on my skin whist I sleep. I never used to use a night ream until I reached my thirties and now I use one every night, without fail. Nivea make a really lovely night cream called Pure and Natural which Home Bargains are currently selling at two pounds and seventy nine pence for a fifty gram pot. The packaging is quite eye catching as the box is nice and brightly coloured and inside the box is the jar of cream with a useful twist off lied. This cream contains aloe vera and it''s designed to smooth and moisturise your skin whilst you sleep and gives you are firmer younger complexion with regular use. I have to say that I really love the fragrance of this night cream as it is light and fresh and not at all artificial. It is quite a thick white cream and you might be forgiven for thinking that it won''t sink into your skin but in actual fact it sinks in pretty quickly. It doesn''t leave my sin feeling greasy or slick and I can only report positives about this particular night cream. I rally do feel that with regular use this skin cream has improved the look, the tone and the feel of my skin over the period of time I have been using it. It''s well worth the cost and it lasts for ages as I only ever need to use a very small amount. I really do recommend it.
I've been using this Nivea regenerating night cream for a while now.
I've never really bought a night cream specifically before but after having dry skin I really wanted to combat, I decided to purchase this.
I bought this for £5.50 from Boots originally but looking online I can see it is now reduced to £2.67 (a great price!) I did not really know what I was looking for when I did go into boots to purchase night cream, but I saw the Nivea stand and this product stood out for me.
It comes packaged in the box like the picture above. The packaging is eye-catching and has plenty of information on the box that drew me to the product. It states it's for all skin types and has bio argon oil and bio aloe vera.
The cream is meant to give you smoother skin as it supports skin regeneration throughout the night and provides moisturisation. Upon opening the box you will find the cream comes in a really nice pot which fits in the palm of your hand. The pot has a blue screw top lid and when removing you will find the cream is sealed in foil.
The cream has a noticeable fresh scent of aloe vera which I quite like. It is white in colour and quite thick in consistency. Upon applying it the cream sinks into your skin with ease and immediately my skin feels softer. I can tell the difference between the night cream and day creams as I found as the night cream is noticeably thicker than other creams, you can feel it on your face once rubbed in. Although it doesn't feel greasy on the skin it, it does feel heavier. As I am wearing it before bed though, I do not mind and think it makes for a good night cream. Upon waking I do find the cream has had a good effect on my skin and it does look better than if I had not applied any cream the night before.
The pot is 50ml in size and holds a good amount of cream that will last a while. Once opened you should discard the cream if not used within 12months of opening.
Overall I give the cream 5 stars and would not mind purchasing it again as I found it works well on my skin.
Although it is thick in consistency, it works well as a night cream and is a good moisturiser.
Thanks for reading :)

For a number of years now I have made a conscious effort to take good care of my skin and have adopted a regime of regularly exfoliating, toning and moisturising my skin as well as using a face mask a couple of times a week. I tend to use a different moisturiser for daytime and night time as they both need to work in different ways. I expect a daytime cream to be light with some SPF protection and to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day whilst a night cream should be richer providing deep moisturisation through the night. I am not particularly loyal to one brand of skin-care product. Not only is this because I like to try out new products that may have appeared on the market but also because I think that using the same product for a continuous period of time makes it less effective as the skin gets too used to it.
I recently ran out of night cream so I headed over to Boots to see what would take my fancy. Whilst browsing the aisles I spotted that the Nivea skin care range was on offer with the Pure and Natural regenerating night cream costing just £3.50 for a 50ml pot. Ordinarily this retails at £5.35, which I consider still to be a reasonable price. What also attracted me to this project was the claim on the packaging that this product had 95% of its ingredients from natural origins. It also claims that there are no colourants, mineral oils, silicones and parabens in this cream, which I saw as an additional bonus.
The cream comes in a small glass pot with a dark blue plastic lid which is itself housed in a small cardboard box. According to the packaging the cream is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The cream contains argan oil which is a natural source of vitamin E and aloe vera which is known for its moisturising properties and acts to hydrate the skin. Used daily this cream will support regeneration through the night and provides intensive 24 hour moisturisation. This all sounded great, especially for a cream that is so reasonably priced.
The cream itself is white in colour and has a fairly thick consistency. I usually apply this last thing before going to bed, after I have cleansed my skin. Despite it's thickness the cream just melts into my skin. It has a scent that I would describe as light and delicate and altogether quite pleasant. To use I apply a small blob of this over my face and also try to remember to apply this onto my neck as this is an area that often gets neglected. My skin feels immediately hydrated and due to the richness of the cream I find that I can still feel a thin layer just under the top layer of my skin. If this was a day cream I would probably complain about this but as this is a night cream I think this is fine. When I wake in the morning, my skin looks great. It feels soft, and looks fresh, plump and deeply hydrated. As my skin can be a bit sensitive I am pleased to note that this causes no irritation and there is no blotchiness.
The only slight downside to this cream is the packaging and the fact that it comes in a pot rather than a tube. I think this is less hygienic as all the cream is exposed to air everytime the lid is unscrewed which can't be a good thing. Also I think it's less hygienic to put my finger into the pot rather than squeezing out of a tube.
I have been using this for around 6 weeks now and I can't really find fault with it. It does the job, moisturises my skin leaving it smooth and supple. The only downside for me is the packaging for which I am knocking off a star but other than that it comes with a strong recommendation from me.
