Why did I buy it
I first started using this tinted moisturising cream years ago, before I ever started wearing foundation. I found it offered the perfect level of light coverage for my skin back then! As I liked it so much, I recently decided to try it out again.
What is it?
This tinted moisturiser is designed to even out skin tone and create a radiant looking complexion. It contains a special blend of light reflecting and colour pigments to help reduce the appearance of imperfections. It also - of course - moisturises the skin! It comes in one shade called 'Natural'.
Price and availability
This moisturiser comes in a 50ml tube and is widely available in supermarkets, Boots, Superdrug and so on. In Boots this costs gbp3.66 but is on offer at gbp1.99 at the time of writing. It costs gbp3.59 in Superdrug at full price but is currently on offer at gbp2.39. So you can pick it up pretty cheaply!
Using the product
You simply squeeze the tube to dispense a small amount of this moisturiser. It has a reasonably thick texture and a mid-beige colour. I find a need a small pea-size amount of this moisturiser so a little goes a long way - and best of all it has that lovely, fresh Nivea fragrance!
This moisturiser sinks into the skin really well and gives my face an instant moisture boost, leaving it feeling really nice and soft.
On the downside, the colour of this moisturiser makes my skin look slightly cakey at first - this disappears when I rub the cream in but I do have to watch that I don't use too much of it! The coverage is very light - and while this used to work for me some years back I would say that the hint of colour this gives to my skin is perhaps a little bit too sheer for me these days unfortunately! However it does improve the appearance of my skin and gives it a light, healthy glow! It is just a shame that it doesn't offer quite enough coverage for me.
The verdict ...
This is a really nice, effective moisturiser that softens the skin nicely. The tinted element gives a very sheer layer of coverage to my skin and while it does give it a nice healthy glow, I need a bit more coverage. This is a good one for days when I am happy to wear a bit less make-up, and fr the price I can't really complain too much!
A lovely moisturiser that is perfect for those that just need a touch of a tint!
I bought this when I decided I needed to rethink my skincare regime. I wasnt particularly on the lookout for a tinted moisturiser but when I saw this I thought it may be a useful product to have. I wanted a moisturiser that I could use on my face that would care for my skin. I do suffer with blemishes and therefore occasionally find myself applying two layers of foundation just to give my skin a bit more of a toned down appearance. Therefore, I thought this moisturiser may well help me in achieving the more balanced look.
I paid around the £1.75 mark for this product from Superdrug. This was in a half price sale so usually I assume it retails at around the £3.50 mark which in my opinion is still a reasonably priced moisturiser, especially from such a well known brand. When I bought mine there was only one colour option available which was natural. The cream comes in a 50ml tube. This is then boxed in a nicely designed box. I liked the look of this but I suppose the box is a bit unnecessary.
I couldnt wait to try this product as I was keen to see what effect it would have on my skin. I was surprised at the colour of the moisturiser. Although I knew it was tinted, it was quite a bit darker than what I would class as a tint. I therefore assumed it would be much darker on my skin than I was expecting.
Applying it to the skin is easy. The product has a creamy texture and is thicker than regular foundations. However, once you begin applying it to your face it becomes more like liquid and therefore it is easy to apply and is absorbed by the skin within seconds.
The moisturiser does give my face some colour and I would definitely say that this could be used as a foundation if you already have fairly good skin. It is not an overpowering colour and it definitely doesnt look like you are caked in make up but it does help balance your skin tone and cover up any blemishes or spots.
I like to apply foundation over the top of this because I do suffer with blemishes and I find that this works brilliantly as a primer. It gives me a good, solid base on which to apply my foundation and I have also found that when I use this my make up does stay put for longer.
I do suffer with sensitive skin but I have had no reactions since using this. My skin is soft, supple and it looks calmer too.
I like this moisturiser and feel like I got a bit of a bargain. I would definitely buy it again and think it represents brilliant value for money. It lives up to Nivea's famous name and it is caring on my skin. It works well and is a welcome addition to my skincare regime. Recommended.
I am a big fan of using tinted moisturisers rather than foundations because I like that they feel lighter. I have tried a few over the years and this one from Nivea is one of my favourites.
It is widely available and costs about £3.50 at the moment from Tesco for a 50ml bottle. This is an excellent price and offers really good value for money because it is easily as good as some of the more expensive moisturising creams that you can get. For example I have most recently used Clinique's BB Cream, which is four times the price. Whilst the BB Cream is very good, I would be hard pushed to tell the difference between the two if I didn't see the packaging.
The packaging is very simple and does the job. It doesn't look cheap and nasty which is good.
The cream is very easy to apply. There is a tiny hole in the top of the squeezy tube which I think is great because it means you can control how much you get out of the bottle and you don't end up with excess amounts all over your hands when you've finished applying.
I find that you don't need very much of it either because a little goes a long way. I apply it probably three or four times a week and I have found that a 50ml bottle lasts me at least a couple of months, probably even longer (I don't pay a massive amount of attention to these things!). This makes it even better value for money in my opinion.
The cream is very light and I find that it blends in very well. Since it is a moisturiser, it has a much smoother feel and it is slightly thinner than foundation so that it spreads easily on my face. I also find that it doesn't feel too heavy on my face and it doesn't feel as though my skin is all clogged up. I find that foundations often have a much thicker ans almost chalkier feel and that you need to massage them in your hands a bit first so they can be applied easier but this tinted moisturiser is much silkier than that.
It comes in what they describe as a natural colour. I have quite dark skin and find that it blends in perfectly. I think that the colour is only very gentle anyway and so it would suit most skin colours I imagine. I tend to use it to sort of even out my skin colour rather than to change the colour of my skin like some foundations do and I find that it does the job perfectly.
I have very dry skin on certain areas of my face and I find that applying only a small amount of this really makes the difference and the effect is long lasting which is brilliant.
Overall I would absolutely recommend this cream because it is good value for money and it does an excellent job - at least as good as, if not better than some of the much more expensive versions that are available. For £3.50, you can't go wrong!
**What is it?**
If you don't want to use a heavy foundation, then a tinted moisturiser may be exactly what you need. Rather than coating your face and leaving you feeling clogged up, a tinted moisturiser provides a light layer of moisturiser with a light tint to it, to give your skin a little colour and provide a bit of coverage to any light imperfections. I have been using Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturiser for the past 8 years - I am a huge fan.
**Price and Availability**
Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturiser is available very widely in Superdrug and Boots, in most larger supermarkets, and online. The price varies around £5 to £7, however I personally purchase mine in a chain of discount beauty retailer 'Bodycare' for a very reasonable £4.50. That said, I have paid higher in the past as it's a product I don't like to be without.
The Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturiser comes in a box which is white with the Nivea Visage logo on the front. I personally throw this away once I start using the cream, as I keep the tube in my make up box (and one in the car!!)
The tube is a wide, flat tube in white with the same Nivea logo on it as the bottle. There is a silver band around it and the lid is the colour of the moisturiser (it comes in a few shades, I always go for light). It looks very nice, clean and fresh, as you'd expect from the Nivea range.
The cream squeezes out of a small nozzle and looks just like foundation but much smoother and it rubs into the skin much easier. It feels great to rub in and provides a lovely light covering which gives you some colour and a base to apply other make up on if you wish, but doesn't give you that caked on look. For younger skin (I started using this when I was 22 but it would easily suit a teenager) this is all that's needed, for older skin, it means no heavy foundation sitting in those pesky wrinkles! It provides a lovely day time make up suitable for all activities, work, shopping and so on, without looking too much.
For evenings, if you wish, you can use a powder foundation over the top (I use an Avon Mineral Foundation) and this gives a more 'made up' look but still keeps it quite light - perfect for holidays, hot weather and evenings out. And yes, if you want you can layer this up further with a little concealer under the eyes or on any problem areas for a fuller look (this goes well with my favourite Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat).
Overall, I find it so incredibly easy to use, so versatile and so adaptable that I don't actually use a full on foundation (I am 30 with combination skin). I find I can achieve everything I want with Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturiser. Because it's a moisturiser my skin always feels hydrated and is in a great condition when I use make up removing wipes or wash the tint off in the shower. I follow it up by using Nivea Creme on the days I don't want or need a tinted moisturiser.
Overall I cannot recommend Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturiser enough, it's just brilliant and for the price it's better for me, hands down, than any miracle cream or designer foundation. It was actually my Mum who recommended it to me and I've never looked back, recommending it to friends. Even my husband has been known to pinch a bit when he's had a spot (but he'd kill me if I told anyone that ;) )
If you're looking for some light coverage foundation which is so easy to use you'll stick with it, try Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturiser, and, like me, you'll end up with a tube in the bathroom, one in your handbag and one in the car (and a spare tube, hey, I stock up when it's on offer!)
A very very well deserved 5 stars out of 5 from me for Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturiser. My absolute favourite beauty not-so-secret secret and an absolute essential.
I like to use Nivea products as they are a quality brand and when I came across their tinted moisturiser in Asda, I was quite keen to try it as it was a good price. I have used tinted moisturisers in the past and I quite like them as they make me look a lot healthier in the face as they are not severe like fake tan but subtle which is nice as well as moisturising my skin. This one I came across is a day cream which I like to always use anyway to look after my skin and the idea is that it just creates a natural glow to the skin. I always tend to use Nivea products when it comes to my skin but with this one I only use it on my face.
This comes in typical Nivea packaging where it is all quite natural looking and white with the Nivea logo on the top of it. It has a light tinted cream smudge on the front and it clearly says that it is a day cream, it comes in a 50ml tube which is a good size and it also states that it is for all skin types, my skin is sensitive but it works fine for me. It aims to even skin tones and enhance the skins natural glow. It also has SPF8 in it which is an added extra and it looks of good quality. I like the overall look of it and it is easy to squeeze out the moisturiser and on the back are directions of use and a list of ingredients which is good.
NIVEA VISAGE TINTED MOISTURISER
So, to begin with as I had mentioned before it enhances the skins natural glow as it has light reflecting pigments that have vitamins and Hydra IQ. It has been dermatologically approved and it helps to even the skin tone as well as provide a radiant looking complexion. It reduces the appearance of imperfections, it helps reduce the skin from environmental influences that age the skin and it has SPF8. The Hydra IQ helps natural moisturisation and makes skin more radiant looking, it boosts moisture between skin cells via the skins own water channels. It sounds like it does a lot and has been created well and I couldn't wait to use it.
Now, I use this daily, every morning as I like to moisturise my skin daily, I have normal skin which can be slightly dry at times. To use this I just put some on my fingers and then massage it in, in a circle motion to make sure it is absorbed well by skin. This cream smells quite neutral, mainly like all Nivea products quite natural and of cream, it is white and it absorbs into skill very easily and has a non greasy texture which is what I like most about using Nivea products. I only use thus on my face by choice and by getting 50ml it is best this way as this is where I want to achieve the glow the most to look healthy.
I have been using this for a good few months now and it has provided good results, my skin has a glow to it, it is subtle but in a nice way and it keeps my skin feeling smooth and looking young. It is so easy to put onto skin and I feel I look healthier with this on my face and this is what I like the most about it, I liked it so much that I bought another one while the offer was still on. A bottle should last you a month or two depending on how often you apply this as everyone is different. I haven't had any problems with this, since using it, it has been great with my skin and I haven't had any bad reactions which is great as it shouldn't anyway.
I would gladly recommend this moisturiser to anyone that likes a tinted moisturiser as this provides great, natural looking results as well as keeping skin in good condition. It is a good price and from good brand and the fact it suits all skin types is really good too, if you use it daily you will notice the difference it makes. I will keep using this as it has made me happier with my skin and my face always has that healthy look to it, no longer tired looking but it makes me look awake and I like it. It it so easy to apple this and it has a lot of perks to using it, my skin just looks younger and I will continue to trust Nivea products.

This moisturiser can be bought in all supermarkets and places like Boots and Superdrug. I got mine at Asda where they are selling the 50ml tube for £4, I got it on offer at £2 but it is still worth it at £4.
The official Nivea website is http://www.nivea.co.uk/.
I am the sort of girl who wears make up every day and I don't mean every day I wear a full face of make up but it is rare for me not to wear foundation, concealer and blusher. However, in an attempt to help keep my skin in better condition coming into the winter a month or so ago I decided to try and stop wearing make up when I really didn't need to but I wanted to find a tinted moisturiser that I could apply and have a bit of reassurance that apart from my skin is being looked after any little blemish I may have is also covered. No, I'm not vain but I do like my appearance to look decent at all times.
After having a bit of a shop around I stumbled across the Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Tinted Moisturiser whilst in my local Morrisons of all places. It happened to have been reduced along with all the other Nivea products so I thought it was definitely worth a try and it was bought! Nivea is a household name whether you use their products or not it is hard not to have heard of the brand. Known for making its luxurious creams it has now branched out having a variety of toiletry products for both men and women.
The Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Tinted Moisturiser doesn't need much introduction as it simply is a tinted moisturiser nothing more and nothing less. It has been specifically formulated to help restore your skin's natural glow by moisturising your skin but also to help enhance your natural skin colour with the help of light reflecting pigments used in the cream. The cream is classed as a light day cream and has been designed for all skin types.
The cream itself does look rather posh on the shelf against some of the other moisturisers as it comes in a slim, rectangular box which is white in colour. The packaging on the box is exactly the sale on the rectangular shaped tube the moisturiser comes in. Very simple and minimal packaging but then most of Nivea's packaging is exactly the same. Of course both the box and the tube has the blue Nivea logo and features a small caramel coloured strip indicating that it is the tinted moisturiser as there are a few other moisturisers which come in the same sort of box. On the back of both the box and tube there is usage instructions, a bit of blurb about the tinted moisturiser as well as the ingredients list.
The moisturiser itself when squeezed out of the tube looks exactly the same as foundation in terms of colour it is a rich beige colour - I was exactly a cream which was a lot lighter but it was hardly a concern. The consistency though is quite a lot thicker than a foundation as it isn't as thin but does have quite a thick consistency which when it is squeezed out of the tube say onto your finger for application the moisturiser won't move an inch it will literally stay on the surface where it has been squeezed out of the tube. There is hardly an aroma to it but if you smell closely there is a very gentle, mild and very typical Nivea aroma to it.
The moisturiser is applied just like any other moisturiser, on clean and dry skin. You simply apply to give an even coverage all over your face. The moisturiser is enriched in Hydramine and Vitamin E which will easily help nourish your skin and moisturise it - Nivea do say it will provide intensive moisture for 24 hours which is certainly quite a claim! For the tinted claim Nivea have used a combination of light reflecting and colour pigments which help to blend your natural skin tone as well as brighten your complexion.
I have been using this moisturiser for over a month now and I use it on the days where I don't need to wear make-up and I do find it a good alternative as although it does moisturise my skin (and I can suffer with dry skin on my face) it manages to give a lovely tinted coat to my skin giving it a bit of colour but with a natural looking finish so although my skin looks a lot more flawless than if I wasn't wearing any make-up it doesn't give that typical make up look which is what I was wanting. It certainly does give a lovely finish to the skin covering up those imperfections.
The only thing I don't like about this tinted moisturiser is the consistency. Yes, it is ideal to apply as it isn't thin but being quite thick it doesn't spread easily so you do end up using more than what you would do with a moisturiser with a thinner consistency but on the plus side despite its thickness it doesn't leave an unwanted residue behind and is absorbed easily into the skin which to be fair is more important to me than the thick consistency.
Overall, my skin has been easily cared for and nourished with this tinted moisturiser and it manages to give my skin a bit of a natural looking cover rather than resorting to foundation. I am incredibly pleased I tried this tinted moisturiser as it really does do what it says and I will be buying it again once my tube has run out. Would I recommend? Yes, definitely. Even if you don't wear make-up but still want to cover up imperfections this really does the job and what's best it does actually look after your skin. 5 stars from me.
~ Useful Information ~
Brand: Nivea Visage
Price: £3.66 (Boots Sept 12)
Availability: Most supermarkets, pharmacies and discount stores.
I love this product. I find the standard nivea moisturiser heavy on the skin and a tad greasy however, this tinted moisturiser is light and leaves your skin radiant.
I have used both tints. If you are fair skinned the lighter tone "natural" will work better for your skin however, if you have been out enjoying the sun and have developed a bit of colour or you have a naturally darker skin tone then the darker tone "bronze" may be a better choice. I tend to switch between the two depending on the season.
As its got light reflecting particles the product makes your skin appear more youthful and glowing. Once applied your skin feels softer, looks more even and smells great.
The product also contains added vitamin e to pamper your skin a little.
If you are looking for a lighter alternative to foundation at a reasonable price I would recommend you buy this product.
I have only ever used one tinted moisturiser before this; and that was Benefit's "You Rebel". At £20 or so, this tinted moisturiser made me look orange, slightly greasy, and lacked in coverage. After this experience, I decided to opt again for foundation, because it was what I was used to.
But then one Summer when going on holiday, I really wanted a foundation I could use during the day when it was hot. All of them seemed too cakey or heavy, so I decided to try the tined moisturiser again and opted for Nivea. And it works amazingly!
The product comes in a thick, long tube, with a square lid to close. The packaging is quite plain and it is not as quirky as Benefit for example. However, who cares what it looks like if the product is good. Plus, the white packaging works to give it a fresh look!
When you squeeze the moisturiser out, you will see that it has the same consistency as a normal moisturiser. The moisturiser is not liquidy or thin; it has quite a thick and creamy consistency. When you apply the tinted moisturiser, you can really feel it moisturising your skin. It even has the same lovely Nivea smell!
Because it is so moisturising, the product is really easy to blend. This helps to make sure your face looks even and not patchy (like I've experienced with some foundations)
But the great thing about this tinted moisturiser, is that it provides great coverage too!. You would think that being a "tinted moisturiser" it would just give slight coverage. But not this one! It makes my skin look really dewy and fresh, and it covers up spots, blemishes and other marks really well.
After you've applied the moisturiser and it has sunk in, your skin feels so soft. It does not feel like you are wearing anything at all, which is perfect for during the day. Smells great, moisturises well but does not compromise on coverage! Perfect.
I have been using Nivea products for many years but I have only recently tried the Nivea Visage tinted moisturiser. I tried it because it was on promotion in Superdrug at half the usual price. Having tried it out, I would be more than willing to pay full price for this product. As a tinted moisturiser, I have found that it manages to fulfill it's claims. It covers minor imperfections well whilst also ensuring that your skin remains well moisturised all day. The product did not irritate my sensitive skin in anyway at all, infact, as soon as I applied it, my skin felt soft. It was very easily absorbed and I did not need to reapply it during the day. The fragrance is typical of Nivea products, fresh and not overpowering in any way. Although the tube is not huge, a little of this product goes a very long way so I imagine the bottle will last a couple of motnhs, making it very good value indeed. The only disadvantage I can think of is that some people may require a larger range of colours. I only saw two options in the shop.
After a few years of wearing foundation over my terrible skin I decided to give it a break by using a light tinted moisturiser. This instantly jumped out at me as it was so cheap- around £4! This is fantastic value for money and although the bottle doesn't look huge, you get a lot of uses for your money.
This moisturiser it really lovey. It feels light and fresh on your skin but gives a really great sutble glow whilst giving adequate coverage. I apply it with a foundation brush but you can apply it with your fingers and it still gives a lovely effect. As it is quite light, a little goes quite far so you don't feel like you have caked it on. It blends well with your skin so it looks natural.
This product smells really lovely. It is a really fresh and almost fruity smell and it makes it a joy to apply. I really love it.
The packaging is practical, with an outer box and a plastic but durable squeezy bottle. The nozzle is long and thin which means you can get just the right amount of product rather than dumping loads of foundation which you don't need.
My main critisism of this is the colour range. To my knowledge there is only one or two shades in the range, meaning that there may not be a colour out there for everyone. I found the colour was perfect for me, but for darker skintones it would be completely useless.
I do have to apply powder later in the day but this is because I have oily skin. I do find my skin has improved since stopping using regular foundation and switching to this.
As for moisturisation, i'm not sure how well this product works. I have oily skin so i'm not in need of deep skin nourishment but I have read great review from people with dry skin.
A late starter to the make-up world(well 35+) a friend recommended this item as an easy way to get into wearing make-up. Reluctantly I tried and have been so pleased with the results I get everyday. I work in a school and don't want to have my make-up slipping off my face before the break-time bell. I use the natural tinted cream and slap it on at 7am and come 4pm my face still feels moisturised, fresh and glowing. This item is definitely a great moisturiser first and foremost. Its foundation qualities ensure that you are left with a pretty even and flawless finish which could be left as it is or with a sweep of blusher or bronzing pearls. I may feel tired, but my face says otherwise when I'm wearing this item. Application is easy and can be done with fingertips or sponge if required and is made easy by the products ability to blend in with your natural skin tones.
I've been using this tinted moisturiser for quite a few months, after a long search for the perfect product - and this one seems to have it all.
I have very dry skin, and find that most foundations and even some other brands of tinted moisturiser can leave my skin cakey and patchy. The best thing about Nivea's tinted moisturiser is that it is definitely a moisturiser first - my skin feels silky soft after using it and it seems to prevent patches of dry skin appearing throughout the day, as i usually get. Your skin really glows due to the light reflecting pigments and it gives such a nice, even colour to my skin that it's usually the only product I need. Its also perfect if, like me, you really don't take too long over applying make up because you can literally just chuck it on without a mirror and know that you won't be left with any strange marks or lines.
This does come in three different shades of natural, medium and dark, but so far i've found that the cream blends so nicely, I can use a shade darker and go for a medium and still get a really nice effect. I find the worst thing about foundations is the risk of a big orange ring around your face, and that risk is completley eliminated with this tinted moisturiser. It does give you a nice, healthy, long-lasting colour and thats exactly what I wanted.
One of my favourite aspects of this cream is the smell - it's beautiful! Really fresh and creamy, like a lot of other Nivea products, and I've had several comments about the nice smell of my face, which isn't something you'd usually get!
I think the price is pretty reasonable, I usually pay about £5.99 for a tube and when you consider how little you need to get a glowing complexion, its definitely worth it. There isnt much risk of using too much, as the amount you get out is very easy to control.
Overall, I absolutley love this product! People with all different skin types can use it, you never look cakey and you get a shiny happy complexion! All you could ask for.
I bought this moisturiser as I can never find the right foundation to match my skin and always end up looking either pasty or orange tinted!
This product is fab fab fab! it gives the perfect amount of coverage without being caked and gives you a lovely glow without looking overdone. It adapts to your natural skin tone so looks really natural and makes you look as fresh as a daisy!
This doesn't cover blemishes however as is quite light, so if you have acne prone skin which you want to cover up, you may need something a bit heavier. For my skin which is normal but with the occasional break out I find it perfect!
This also has a really nice fresh smell to it..which i love as there is nothing worse than putting something on your face that smells horrible!
Ten out of ten for this moisturiser! Is definately one of my must haves!
O the many woes of the fairer sex, who are constantly on the prowl for cosmetics that will miraculously transform them into stunning goddesses of Angelina Jolies mold. Alas, more likely they will stumble upon some tantalizing scam in Boots and be yet another victim who succumbed due to their vanity.
However, and I dare to emphasize the word yet again; However, every now and again in their near fruitless toils they by chance stumble upon some diamond that upon first glance they scorn as it does not bear the insignia of some haute coat of arms such as the Golden color of Channel, or the Proud G of Gucci.
But if they give it a chance it can exceed their wildest dreams....
So it was a scenario close to this one that lead me to discover this wonderful product.
It was a gift and I have to admit I would never have bought it if it were otherwise. I was always of the firm position that foundation and moisturizer should be two different things and that combining them was just a shortcut and wouldn't give you the same result.
Well I was very wrong when it came to this lovely number.
According to my internet sources the technical details as the company puts it are as follows:
-Light, daily moisturising formula both hydrates intensively and enhances your natural skin tone
-Enriched with hydramine and vitamin E to provide the skin with essential caring elements and intensive moisture 24 hours per day
-Special combination of light-reflecting and colour pigments blend with your natural skin tone to brighten your complexion and to blur skin imperfections
-UVA/UVB protection in combination with vitamin E helps protect the skin from environmental influences that result in premature ageing
-Suitable for all skin types
The foundation comes in a no nonsense rectangle like tube which contains 50ml, and it costs 3.99 pounds at Boots. I got the natural shade, which to be honest is a shade darker then my fair skin, but because it is a moisturizer the cream blends in allot more so the color is not as noticeable as a foundation of the same color would be.
Putting this cream on was a dream, it really smooths into your skin, no patchy spots but a nice hydrating feel as you spread it over your face, the color blended in well and gave me what I thought was a nice healthy glow it even covered my dark circles under my eyes, so I was doubly pleased.
I only needed a small amount as well, so I think that this will last me a long time.
I have been using this as a day cream and skipping my usual foundation/powder routine, but if I am going out somewhere special I would still use my normal foundation as it does give a more uniform skin tone. However for every day this is a wonderful cream which I highly recommend and is a real keeper in my books!
I never wear foundations, because they're too fiddly and I've yet to find one that looks (or feels!) natural on my skin. At the same time, I hate going without any coverage at all on my face (or just using an ordinary moisturiser), as my skin is by no means perfect and definitely needs a bit of help most days!
There are many, many tinted moisturisers on the market, and believe me, I've tried most of them! I always end up coming back to this one though.
Why? Well, it makes my skin feel and look smooth, with a healthy glow. It doesn't clog my pores, or settle into lines and wrinkles over the course of the day. It's really easy to control how much you squeeze out of the tube, so no wastage, and of course it has that lovely, evocative Nivea smell.
I have fairly pale skin, and I use the 'Natural' shade of this moisturiser. I find it suits my skin colour all year round, although there's always the option of switching to the darker shade if I get a particularly good tan! I do tend to mix this with an equal amount of a non-tinted moisturiser, as I prefer a lighter coverage, but that's just personal preference.
Another good point is that this moisturiser is not at all expensive, but you really wouldn't know it as it does the job brilliantly.
Sometimes your skin lacks a fresh and even complexion / It now needs a touch of tinted care to look less tired and more radiant again / The light texture of Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturizing Care moisturises your skin while providing an even skin tone, giving back to your skin its natural radiance /
