I do like using cleansing milk as I prefer the thin consistency and find that they usually do just a good a job as the more thicker concentrated products which I find sometimes leave a residue on my face. I find a good cleansing milk will remove all traces of make up from my face and leave it feeling refreshed and product free. I have bought a lot of Olay products over the years and have always found them to be suitable for my skin and also quite reasonably priced. I bought this Olay daily renewal milk for just £1.99 from a local discount store which I think is a fabulous price.
This milk contains magnesium which is said to have revitalising properties and vitamin C, and it has been dermatologically tested and I can say that it has never irritated my skin or caused any irritation. The liquid is white and milky in appearance and it smells fresh and clean without being too strong or overpowering. It is hypo-allergenic and does not contain any alcohol and it is supposed to give your skin a radiance as well as cleansing.
To use I will tip a small amount onto a cotton wool pad and find that you don't really need much as it seems to go a long way. It stays on the cotton wool pad without soaking right in and I find that one application is enough to wipe over my whole face and neck. I will use small outward sweeping motions starting at the top of my face going down to my neck and then will finish off by wiping around my eyes.
My skin feels soft and quite hydrated afterwards and I don't feel the need to use anything else straight away although I will use a moisturiser or night cream just before going to bed. I think that my skin does look smooth and bright with using this milk and the fresh clean feeling does last for some time.
I do like this cleanser and will continue to use it and would buy it again, so I do recommend it and if you can pick it up for £1.99 I think it is a good price for a good quality product which is gentle but removes every trace of my make up and leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh.
I started wearing make up at a young age of about thirteen this led to spots and greasy skin. I have always tryed to remove my makeup with a cleanser, tryed alsorts over the years.
Oil of Olay Cleansing milk, as I can remember it it used to be called oil of ulay years ago. Comes in a retangular bottle with the name clearly shown on the front with the logo of a womens face. It is used for removing make up replenishes moisture and is very kind to the skin.It has a natural Ph balance is suitable for all skin types even most sensitive as it's dermatologhy tested and prven to be.
Myself using it~
It has a smell of baby lotion. Myself I use cotton wool pads to massage it into my face and neck it removes all dirt from make up and day to day grime on the skin. squirt a pea size amount on two cotton wool pads and massage circular movements onto your face and neck then dry your skin with dry cotton wool pads. I was very impressed by the amount of grime it took off. I recommend you used Olay moisturiser after using the cleanser they work very well together. This is a good old fashioned product that remember my Nan using and she had lovely skin well into her late sixties.
This produt is availible from all good chemists costing around £2.00.
Oil of Olay - Daily Renewal cleansing Milk
I first got this present as part of a olay set and thought I would give it a go. It is designed for people over the age of 21 as this is apparently when you need to start applying lotions to prevent wrinkles appearing in later life and so I thought I would give it a go.
Olay which used to be called Oil of Olay has produced a great product with its daily renewal cleansing milk.
The lotion comes in a white plastic bottle. The bottle has a black cap on the top which can be unscrewed for when you wish to use it. The lotion is said to help reduce the appearance of fine lines. I have used this lotion for some time now as a moisturiser for nighttime. It contains beta hydroxy complex with pro-vitamin B5.
The Daily renewal cream is part of Olay's special care cleansing range. It is designed to make your skin feel fresh and younger.
The lotion is really nice and smooth on your skin. It is lightly fragranced and you do not need to apply much to make your skin feel and look nice. The lotion is quite thin and is white in colour. It does not run when you place it on your skin but is not as thick as some moisturisers. It is easy to rub into your skin and is quite light in texture.
When using the lotion you need to apply to your face and neck and then wipe off. The product is designed to be used with the daily toner and daily cream which you are supposed to apply after this process.
I personally only tend to use the renewal lotion and this has worked really well.. I have not got any fine lines and cannot comment on how they have prevented them but it really does make my skin feel smooth and silky.
The bottle itself is 200ml and costs between £2 and £3 in most stores.
