I am usually impressed with Olay products, so I am quite confident whenever I buy anything by Olay. In particular I usally find their creams to be extremely moisturising, so when I ran out of moisturiser recently I was keen to buy something by Olay. Olay Aqua Hydration was reccomended to me by a friend who said it had left her skin feeling really soft, which is the reason I bought this product. I do find the name 'Olay Aqua Hydration Facial Massage Balm' quite unusual. The part I find unusual is the "Facial Massage Balm" part, normally if i Saw this kind of thing on the shelf in a shop I would dismiss it as a novelty massage product and I certainly wouldn't be likely to buy it as a moisturiser. The cream comes in a 50ml size blue and white tub which indeed fits in nicely with the "Aqua" colour theme. The lid on the tub screws on and off nice and easily too, so no problems there. The cream itself is white in colour and extremely soft, it is clearly very good quality. The cream has a very clean scent which compliments my facial cleansing routine very nicely. After use it leaves my skin not only feeling clean but also smelling clean too. You apply the cream the same way you would with any other moisturiser by smoothing it over your face and neck. I have noticed that I do need to be careful how much I apply at once as if I put on too much it can take a while to absorb into my skin. So I now apply it quite thinly, except for on very dry areas. After using the cream my skin is incredibly soft to touch and, as promised, had left my skin feeling "hydrated". It gave me a nice soft base to start applying my make up. This softness lasts for days too so it isn't even necessary to keep applying the cream a lot. The only area I did notice became dry again after a day or so was around my nose which is where I tend to get dry the most, but a quick application of this cream sorted the problem out quickly. As an added bonus, the cream contains Vitamins and Jojoba Oil which are designed to enhance the skins surface renewal. Overall I am very happy with this product and very glad my friend reccomended it to me. It only costs £5 for a tub which I think is a bargain compared to other moisturising products.
