Price and Availability
I have no idea where this came from, I think I might have got it for Christmas off someone or it might have been in the hamper my Fiancé won for me one Valentines day, either way I know I never bought it for myself. Anyway it's available in the usual places including
The one I have has old packaging and it actually says on the bottle 'New Pack Coming Soon' which is a first I have never seen that before. It comes in a box which is white with a pink stripe running through it and pale pink fading on the bottom. On the top of the boy it has the OLAY logo with 'beauty fluid' 'essential moisture' underneath. On the bottom it says 'Nourishing day fluid - Sensitive' The bottle has similar writing and is a small square white bottle with a black plastic screw on lid. There is no more information on the bottle other that on the back it says - apply liberally to your face and neck and avoid contact with eyes.
To be honest the only reason I have used this is because I banned myself from buying new products until the ones in my bathroom were gone, this was because I had loads of face creams and body lotions and god knows what else that I never used, so I started working my way through them. I noticed during my exploration of beauty products that there is a million different names for what are essentially the same product. Like this one for example, what on earth is Beauty fluid... Sounds like some secret potion of sexiness but sadly no it is just a moisturiser, so is it a good moisturiser ?
It's all right.
Ok I will elaborate, it is a white coloured cream with quite a thin texture for a moisturiser, when you rub it in it actually feels quite watery. I don't know if you have ever tried putting liquid foundation on when your skin is still too damp and it just sort of rolls around, well that is what it feels like when you first apply it. It does quickly sink in after that though and disappears without much residue which is good. I was very surprised that this product seems to have no smell at all when you squirt it out, once you have rubbed it in you get a little bit of a sun cream sort of smell but it's very subtle. I don't like overly fragrances creams but a little smell is nice. It claims that ' as soon as you try it you will notice the difference: softer, smoother, more youthful looking skin!' unfortunately such a miraculous transformation was not to be. It did leave my skin feeling smoother initially but the feeling soon wears off. It does moisturise well so at least it does the basics.
