Advantages: The actual serum in the pods was nice
Disadvantages: So fiddly to use and can catch or tear the skin
So who at Olay decided to produce these Olay Regenerist Eye Derma-Pods? These came out and were hailed as a fantastic new way to make the area around your eyes look better than they ever had before!
In principle it sounded great as they were promoted as an easy to use one use only rejuvenating skin care product like no other on the market. I do wonder if they will be as long lasting as a product, only time will tell.

Ok so they are mean't to resurface your skin and regenerate the skin cells, to reveal younger looking skin, with regular use. Its claimed that they help reduce puffiness too, as the resulting eye massage may remove excess under eye fluids!
Well I found them really hard to use, as they are just a bit of thin sponge attached to a bit of harsh plastic coated paper that can catch on your skin when you use them, ouch! Its also claimed that they can help to fill in your lines & wrinkles, as they contain 'micro-spheres' which create a smoother look.

You only need to use one pod for both eyes and whilst you could use them on a daily basis, Olay say that for optimal results you only really need to use them 3 times a week, well thats 3 times too much faffing about for me. Why use these when a good eye cream or serum and light finger tips can do the job.
The derma pods cost a huge £25 ish for a box containing 24 derma-pod applicators, for up to 8 weeks of treatment. I think that they are fiddly and difficult to use, can catch on your skin and are really very overpriced for the amount of product you get.

There are other things on the market for eye area skin care which do the job just as well if not better. The serum within the pods is very nice and feels good when applied but the system is not a winner for me.
Summary: Why buy these when a decent serum and light application with your finger tips can do a better job
